It was never meant to be something you roll over. You learn it and you do it, possibly utilizing a bit of specific gearing along the way. That’s nobody’s problem but the person who feels a need to do entirely optional content.

What is your definition of this? Define it. I have a item rating of 231 and my highest toon is 238. I have a mythic rating of 0. I have done 0 PVE grouped content this expansion. I play a total of about 10hours a week. Every week. Except when I was farming my 7/7 in Mage Tower.
So If I am not a casual what am I? I think just about anyone would define me as a solo player this expansion and as a very light casual

Gladly. A casual player is someone who doesn’t even get into most hardcore elements. A casual player is usually defined by stats as a player who plays 2-3 hours a week. They would do things like professions, garrisons, Darkmoon faire, maybe lfr possibly pushing normal.
You do you.
Casual by definition of time invested does not define casual in terms of chosen gameplay.
People who legitimately play less than 5 hours per week probably aren’t even close to endgame, or if they are they’re nowhere near caught up in anything and have a PLETHORA of casual content to engage with, both current and past.

That person is not a casual that person is a person that doesn’t play the game at all. They are called dabblers. It would that that person the whole expansion to hit max level and hit 80 renown.
10 hours a week? Giving about 2 hours 5 days a week? yeah thats a casual player. 2-3hours a week is not a casual thats not even a wow player thats a tinkerer.
if I played this game 2 hours a week I wouldn’t be on the forums complaining about MT. I wouldnt care about MT at all or what you get from it because I barely play the game at that point

Its overtuned and since the artifact skins aren’t available from it, theres no reason to subject myself to the headache.
If i want a real masochistic challenge than ill load of my soulsborne games and solo Darkeater Madir again or fight Ludwig The Holy Blade or Orphan of Kos again.

If I may give you an example without you insulting and degrading. My personal definition of a casual is someone like my cousin. I got her started and she was having fun but I knew there was no way she was doing mythic plus or raiding she just doesn’t have the capacity to handle that stress. So I was just running her through old quest. After about a month she asks me “is this all there is for me to do?” And I said yes because you wouldn’t like much of the other content as it’s designed for more hardcore players who can take a mental beating. So yes I do believe casuals need more stuff and no I’m not trolling. Not everyone is happy doing endless old quests and I’m not sure about your luck but when you guys mention old raids even I have trouble getting a 200 ilvl alt into a legion raid, being met with “get your ilvl up”. So that is the perspective I look at it from.

I am as casual as a player can get. I am a 40 year old boomer that doesn’t do any M+, rated pvp, or raiding and I got the mage tower mount. It took me 6 months to accomplish but I did it.
You have to put effort into it or the achievement is meaningless. Mage tower is actually extremely well tuned and doable with SL gear. (enchanted and gemmed SL gear).

Calling someone old, hard defining casual, claiming the Mt is too hard and anyone who doesn’t think so is elitist. Claiming that wanting difficult to achieve rewards is the same as wanting to keep those rewards from people. You’re just doing it all today!

Nerfed how? The new talent trees are going to add a ton of player power that can’t be locked out of like current player power boosts like legos, conduits, coven abilities etc.

i bet op was one of those people who did account sharing for the mage tower. she just got back from her punishment, still got mount and is flexing.
i will be going into mage tower soon myself. just putting the finishing touches on the rest of my alts for it.

No one still has the mount who was banned. It was removed from those who were banned. blizzard has said this. Along with the achievements

So long as my unholy can keep shackle the unworthy, my fire mage with deathborne and my hunter with flayed shot, i might attempt the tower again if I’m bored with nothing else to do. Which will probably happen since even now i have nothing but old content to do.
I’m sure she did. I doubt blizz actually was able to track and ban everyone who boosted the book.
i know just messing around. gj on getting it. i quit all of legion and bfa. then played a bit at start of shadowlands then quit again until now season 3.
worked my butt off for tower ranger and then blizzard nerfed it gave it away for free to anyone that completed layer 4 now.
its so hard to try and do anything in this game because you work you butt off for it and then blizzard nerfs the crap out of it. like battlemaster and now tower ranger.
i myself just got a few more toons to get ready then i will be getting the mage tower completed as well.
