A bright sparkly kitty is always gonna be something I want, I love the little trail the skin makes as you run. If I had it I wouldn’t see myself using anything else except the different colors. Right now my Druid uses a default Night Elf cat form because I don’t really care for any of the others except Ghost of the Pridemother.
I said the same thing once.
Appreciate what you have brother, or you’ll never be happy.
There is plenty I appreciate that I have, even though there’s a lot of Mage Tower appearances I wish I had. I’m just particularly annoyed about Ghost of the Pridemother because I can now see it in the barber shop but will never be able to unlock it. I can live with not having them, but having it dangled in front of me when it’s not someone using the appearance themselves, nah, that’s not cool.
You’re choosing to take it personally and acting like it’s malicious that all forms are listed in the barbershop. By your own words you only use the one form because you don’t like the rest- so you have to actively navigate to the cat page to oggle over the form you can’t have. Simple solution- don’t do that.
or at least create something i can work towards to obtain them. atm there isn’t any solo challenge except calm down during m+.
I realize it’s not malicious, that doesn’t make it suck less though. I will go to look at the forms I have though to see if suddenly one feels like something I would enjoy playing as. I have gone to use different, played them for a bit, then change back. I can’t go look at any them on the artifact pedestal, druid’s, monk’s, any classes. So it regardless of why, the fact I can even see it bothers me. At the end of the day I realize it’s something I’ll have to just get over, but that doesn’t mean I have to be okay with it.
edit: forgot a word
It also doesn’t mean you
Eventually Blizzard will figure out how to put these things back in. They just need to be reminded that there is an audience that wants these.
To be honest, I don’t see them doing it any time soon, even with how many people want them back. There’s no assurance it will happen, so until they announce it I have to get over it.
All you are paying for is a working login button. Your sub and expansion fees do not entitle you to rewards.
I don’t know if anyone was actually expecting Scholo and SM to come back, but Blizz returned them out of the blue.
I can see them getting reintroduced in some way. Perhaps on a current-expansion challenge mode system that awards currencies to buy old stuff. Think of Vicious Saddles.
That’s fair, but I rather just assume they’re never coming back so if they ever do I can be pleasantly surprised rather than assuming they’ll be back in eventually and accrue disappointment every time they announce something coming back that isn’t Mage Tower appearances.
I can relate. That’s how I approached the old dungeons and, holy crap, was it an amazing surprise when they were plopped back in the game.
There are plenty of cool staff mogs. You need to play the game if you want rewards.
They bring mage tower back sometimes. I did not bother doing it either time. I’m fine with some things being difficult to acquire.
I think the warrior armor set from mage tower is awesome. Actually not a fan of the druid forms from mage tower.
Lol, I said this specific piece is one of the very few I would be willing to pay for. I don’t see why that’s a big deal.
Also, maybe if they would make weapon skins that are able to compete with these it wouldn’t be such a problem. The quality of skins has been terrible compared to legion.
My wish is that all of you are able to get items long past no matter if they are from a shop or challenge it makes me sad some just don’t want to let others have something that they might have that certainly doesn’t devalue anything that you or I have achieved real life has more value then a video game.
Never say never though I’m being very surprised lately and we have a very good 2024 and beyond to look forward to so lets bring everything to the foray and bring it all back to be obtained through different accessible for everyone means so no one has to feel left out because they don’t have enough playtime due to families and jobs as well as folks with disabilities not everything is easy breezy for us you know
Source: Trust me bro.
As for the FOMO, it has always existed in some way in WoW. Look at the T3 sets from OG Naxx. We JUST got them back after how many years of them being on the BMAH for insane prices? and even then, it took years for them to show up on the BMAH in the first place and on top of that, it’s still millions of gold to get each T3 set for every class.
Just admit you have an issue with FOMO and call it a day. WoW isn’t the first game to have FOMO nor is it in the wrong for having FOMO since during Legion, the devs were VERY clear about the Mage Tower rewards going away at the end of the expansion.
If new players get upset and quit because they can’t get the OG Mage Tower skins, then that’s on them. Their lack of playing shouldn’t mean they get to have it because they weren’t playing at the time. Is it harsh? Yes, but that’s just the way it goes.
Edit: Also, personally, I’m more a fan of Blizzard having some form of FOMO because I like having unique stuff that you can’t get anymore. Do I lord it over people? Nah, but I’m not someone who wants the things that are no longer in the game that I’ve earned to become something that’s just given out to people. I’m on the fence about adding the original skins back into a revamped MT or something because again, I like my unique stuff.
That being said, I’m not opposed to recolors.
Exactly, why not just slap a dollar sign on every cosmetic on the game right? It doesnt hurt anything right??
They do. And if you think they don’t, you don’t play this game. The only thing that has these specific artifact skins on a pedestal for you is the fact that you can’t get them now.
This is verifiably false. You may subjectively dislike a lot of the designs, but they’re definitely on par. The ‘problem’ isn’t a problem.
There was a deadline for the Tyreal’s Charger as well and well people were getting handed that mount left and right at the release of D4. So your argument kind of caves in on itself.
Nope. Should have done the challenge.
Pretty sad to lock things in a paid game
Hey …
How low can u people go?
