Mage Tower artifact skins should still be obtainable

“The Mage Tower appearance will be akin to the Legendary Cloaks and other legendary quest lines from recent expansions, wherein it will serve as a badge of honor from Legion saying “I was here” and “I did this”.

I personally think trying to keep the Mage Tower challenge balanced and up-to-date would be a bit of a distraction from current content, and it’s probably not something the development team would want to devote time to. I’d much rather the development team focus on Battle for Azeroth content, and make something like Mage Tower again in the future when the timing is right.

This isn’t anything new, so I encourage you to take opportunities as they are available to try and complete the challenge! :)“

I think too many people are seriously hung up over the Mage Tower rewards, the Mighty Caravan Brutosaur, and to a lesser extent the MoP and WoD Challenge Mode rewards, but if the former ever came back, then they should be tied to the same challenges as before, because I’ve seen too much “put them on the Trading Post” drivel.

I got most of the ones I wanted back then and I think they should be obtainable today. There’s literally no reason for them not to be.

Also bring back the MoP CM sets.

Removing the legendary cloak story from MoP was indeed a bad decision, and using that legendary quest line removal as a basis for removing other things in the game is :clown_face: worthy.

Perhaps they could’ve chosen a different rationale, but nope, they chose the “we’re removing this because we removed the legendary quest lines” rationale.

I say, bring back Challenge Mode dungeons and provide the same rewards. All the same rules, adjusted for now. (And no, they arent the same as M+; they may have been an early iteration of what we have now, but how they worked was different.)

Agreed! The guild I was in at the time had zero interest in CMs which was a shame. I didn’t want to try to pug and didn’t want to buy a carry either.
