I don’t have every PvP or M+ seasonal reward. Who cares? We don’t have to earn every single reward the game offers. Play when you have the time to commit to it and don’t worry about what happened in the past. If you did not get it then, you did not get it. There are tons of newer rewards to earn every patch cycle.

I have pretty much all of them (some mt appearances I didn’t care for) but I agree essence of calm is one of the best, I actually picked that up on both of my accounts.
To me, it was really, really fun challenge, especially the ones I did with garbage gear/legendaries. That was what, a decade ago? I couldn’t care less if you could still earn the skins. Bring back all the stuff like that, you never see 99% of it, and that isn’t good for anyone.

I’m just sad I can’t get one of the only good looking glaives anymore, already did it for tier re-color - I’m just glad I was lucky enough to get both glaives from Illidan last month, still have to wait until the week of dec 19th to be able to trasmog them though
yep those flaming warglaives are some of the best too, Dh’s in general got shafted with mogs imo. No tier for almost two full expansions, limited glaive mogs, it’s just now getting better.

It’s just that some of the rules changed and so they should be made available. Back in Legion, I never played feral druid. I never had any desire. Because the weapons weren’t transmoggable in any other spec, there was just no point in doing it. But now we have access to all of the cat forms in the barber shop. So now there is a real point. But it’s not available and that makes me sad.
I’d also like to get the pvp tints. But the amount of grinding for honor vs what prestige was back in the day…uh uh no way. But at least it IS attainable if I were exceptionally motivated.
I feel like the only arguments against giving people the ability to get the mage tower tints is that some people might be upset by it. But most people are saying some people would be upset by it and not really that they would be. I think if those people exist, they’re quite an exceptional minority.
Alternatively, make weapons/transmog forms that are every bit as cool as the mage tower tints so people don’t care. But for some people (cat druid, DH warglaives) nothing has compared for years.

I just wish they’d give us some green stuff at least, some of the newer glaives look decent, but blue/yellow colors for a dh , meh - feel like I gotta somewhat match my gear with my spell effects which are all green

I mean you keep saying that but that doesn’t make it any more true. Take MT for example: current form is not the same. You don’t even have to grind for it to come up these days. Bringing back the old rewards would, again, be disrespectful to the sacrifices made by players at the time to A. Get in. B. Pray they had right-enough leggos to even be a viable spec C. Do it.

As someone who got all the MT appearances I wanted back in Legion it would not be “disrespectful” in the slightest to bring those original rewards back. I do encourage their return as well. I say this because I don’t base my self worth on “sacrificing” my time playing a video game.
Also as someone with a few of those AotC mounts, yes I absolutely encourage their return as well. In fact I don’t think there should be any limited time rewards in wow. I think everything should obtainable today.

I agree 100% with this.
I’ve seen maybe 2 artifact weapons, and that’s because of my husband LOL.
People who have them or got them all have either stopped playing or don’t even mog them.

My point still stands - I very very VERY rarely encounter people with mogged Legion Artifact Weapon appearances. I was shocked at how cool some of them looked (Paladin) and saw them only because of my husband.
Comparing a mount or tabard that you get from a scratch off card to a transmog set you had time 9 dungeons on hard mode is a bad and disingenuous comparison.

Motivation to get the next cool thing then. Not an excuse to bring back challenge content which had a deadline, was properly enforced, and has been repeatedly stated by Blizzard to be something they will respect. Elite mogs, mage towers, challenge modes from MoP / WoD are trophies for playing the game well during the time period it was relevant. Get the next one.
eh, the only part about getting these that was “hard” was getting somewhat geared on all classes. I did some of them early e.g. ww, mw, hpal, havoc, few tanks, survival, and yeah man those were hard, the rush of beating them was great.
Then, I overgeared the rest on classes I never played and face rolled my way to the appearances that I thought I might want some day. I’d never even played specs like holy priest, outlaw rogue etc before I beat mt on them.
tldr: it was only as challenging as you wanted it to be.

Oh I agree with this, of course - I mean I’m not upset, don’t get me wrong.
I dislike the fact that these appearances are deemed “coveted” when the majority of people just waited until Antorus, wayyyy outgeared the Mage Tower and ran in freely.
i mean- if you have away to put the work in, then i think ever single transmog that ever had to be achieved in previous xpacs shoudl be allowed to be obtainable. Make a new challenge as a way you can grind and win it

No. Example: I had all the TCG mounts, a bunch of tabards, and most of the pets before the Twitch/Amazon crap but I don’t give one fig that they’re coming back.
I paid gold for them. They were not a seasonal event.
Btw, I’m starting to see what Carrosh is talking about. You don’t respond to points, you just ask questions to deflect.
