They were also made to be exclusive to the specs that had that artifact but that went out the window immediately.

Seasonal rewards are rewards for participating in the season. They’re not seasonal if you can get them at anytime. Seasonal rewards don’t have value if everyone can get them anytime they want.
There are hundreds of transmog sets. There are hundreds of weapon transmogs. There are now close to thousand different mounts. There is nothing wrong with a small percentage being exclusive for the people that earned them when Blizzard applied the time limit.
Btw, there is also no negative impact to not bringing them back.

Lots of people who can’t do the mage tower want the mage tower rewards. That’s really weird in 2023.

This entire post is essentially a non-statement. It’s vague and baseless. I could effectively lobby the same claim at you, but it wouldn’t be much more than an empty attempt to discredit you. I don’t need to resort to this because you’re unable to otherwise defend your argument. You look silly.

I don’t mind the skins coming back, but I would LOVE to have even more tints to choose from. if they bring back the original mage tower stuff, give something for people who already completed and gained the skins to get something in another color.

So normally the argument is about removed content. But the content was put back? And it’s evergreen now. I actually got VDH just yesterday, was pumped (yes, double sigil on Kruul makes P1 sillier than it was before on DH, and yes, I still died at 1%)
The negative impact of not returning them: some skins are still unattainable, same as CMs, elite PVP, and older pre-Cata items. They’ve added two werebear skins now, one of which should be extremely easy to attain once they fix the drop rate (I have yet to see any druid using the new skin, I have to imagine the drop rate is botched), and they’ve added flails here and there.
The negative effect of bringing them back: right now black market auction house players and card game collectors know that it’s possibly a matter of time before their expensive collectibles could become available on the Trading Post or on Twitch. So it just becomes a waiting game. But stuff that’s available in the BMAH and the card games are kind of outliers, there was never a way to get the pollo loco mount in-game in a straightforward manner, not the same way as getting your MoP CM done is straightforward: re-introducing the original MT skins would turn any challenge mode reward into a waiting game, and what would the point be then of getting that content done when it was relevant?
Because you actively chose to not engage with it at the time, and now you’re stuck with the consequences. The only person who can be held accountable for the position you’re in is yourself.

I kinda agree, since there was real prestige in the skins in the first place. Just cool mogs.
