No no. Id like to see pages of threads complaining they’ve got a key they cant do anything with because its too hard to complete but wont downgrade to a level they can use
Pretty Much GD forums and M+ player base in general
But you know what they say. If you have to ask… cough cough
They’ll just tell you the NPC should let you choose what key level you want to do (and it shouldn’t have a timer, of course).
You know, I came back to check your reply again on a hunch you’d try to call me toxic. Lo and behold, an edit.
I wonder who that truly reflects on?
Oh so delves, that thing that already exists for them?
You’re not toxic. You are a cute little fox. Do /sleep in game. How could that EVER be toxic?
/stand afterward is even better.
Yes. If you put your key at +10, for instance, and you can’t do it, you can just drop it in the NPC now.
So no reason for that system, let the peop try again and, if they think is too much for them, just drop it in the npc.
Player choice and all.
In all seriousness they know who they are. They are the melodramatic ones on the forums who rant about practically nothing in GD and the M+ Toxic ones know who they are too. They are the ones who consider anyone “who isnt on their level” or close to it “Trash”
Yeah, that way people can fill mythic vault without ever having to get better at the game, right?
There are a lot of people on the forums that don’t represent anything I see in-game.
I think it’s possible or even likely that, like me, the forum persona is not equivalent to behavior in-game. I’m much more argumentative and combative on here.
Well they’are doing already.
If you can’t fix properly just make it fun then
They did though. They took all the complaints people had about mplus and made a brand new endgame pillar for them called delves.
Just run delves until the beginning of Season 2. The wave of quitters is just starting. After the hard quitters talk their trash and leave the game, it ALWAYS gets better. Then theyll come back for the week of the release of a new raid, and then theyll leave again. The game will certainly get better after the Anniversary event is over.
The same number of people reaching milestones but fewer people doing keys means the people who were successful in the past are successful again, while those who used to do low keys have given up and stopped participating.
Overall I would not say that’s a complete success, unless the goal was to reduce participation and entry into competition by those on the learning curve.
I would as those entry level area players had a whole new endgame system made just for them called delves that solved the issues they had with mplus being the timer, forced grouping ect ect and they are having a blast with it.
And I see the main purposes of delves as…
- Preseason gearing for raiders and high mythic+ achievers;
- Achievements for raiders to grind out when their guild is raid logging.
I see “interesting content that casuals/solo players can repeat thousands of times during this expansion” to be an unrealistic expectation.
What you see it as and what the game director said they are for being what I stated are two different things. Did you not pay any attention to the system feature announcement?
I see. You are telling us how strong your faith is in the words of the game director. Considering his history of truthfulness, I base my conclusions on my observations of how the content has been and continues to be played, and what purpose it has served up until now. I think that most of the input on its design came from streamers and content creators like Bellular in an effort to solve the “casual problem”.
Since you clearly have nothing meaningful to add to the conversation, I may as well block you.
That’s about the same as asking the ice-cream truck driver the best way to make sour dough bread.
You can do that by looking at the achievements of those players in previous seasons on the lower end and where they match up now to the content they are doing. Hey would you look at that its delves.
