I played DF as a holy pal. Finished DF with a score of 3.2k, and – to be brief-- I think the reason M+ is so unpopular atm is because more of the responsibility is now on the dps to perform.
I am tanking as blood dk this expansion, and from what I have seen (admittedly only started m+ this past week), you can’t skate by being carried by one or two players this time. Everyone’s damage needs to count if you are timing the key now.
Just because i use my knife as a screwdriver doesnt mean the intended design of the knife is for that reason. Does that make the inventor of a pocket knife a liar?
Because I used my crescent wrench as a hammer, does the person who designed the wrench now become untrustworthy?

While this is an issue and I certain do want a priest kick - we do have Psychic Scream and HW Chastise which stun / CC - and there have certainly been runs where I as a priest have “interrupted” more times than a class with an actual kick
Though I remember one time a tank “got on to me” for using scream cause it “needlessly spreads the mobs” - even though no one else was CCing or what not lol
Though I don’t see why Shadow Priest’s silence kick can’t just be class specific (and not spec specific)
I just translated his comment as “I don’t care about the actual facts or data I’m basing this off my feely craft and that alone and if you don’t agree I will just block you”

Is it really though? Lets look at my IO profile and see all pugs up to 2580 rating. Lets look at deaths in some of them that are still timed and completed at a 10 level. 11 deaths in one, 7 in another, 4 deaths in that one, actually I only have 3 runs without a single death. Nobody jumped on anyone or anything of the sort.

I seriously need to start getting some rating on alts to see what people are talking about, because this just isn’t the experience I’ve had on any of my keys.
Worst key I’ve had was like 15-20 minutes over time as a healer was panicking and not hitting buttons on Izo. And then one warlock who was trying to dictate my tank friend’s route on my 10 mists key, which I promptly removed and reformed for a 9. Everything else has been pretty civil.
I’m not conceited enough to believe my experience is normal, considering the horror stories I keep finding about keys disbanding within 1-3 deaths, but most of my 10’s have upwards of like 5-7 deaths and still time, with everyone just being chill about it.
I have a sneaking suspicion, however, that I’ll start encountering the problems when I go to push my Evoker’s rating.
Dev evoker here and pugged to KSH. Your experience has been the same as mine I haven’t found any toxicity in the 10 and up range. From what I can see the only people are saying are those at the 5-9 range so I assume that’s where it all is.
I agree with you. On the other hand though, there are other things that would need fixing first. Class balance is way off right now. I cant remember a time when its been this far off. The people that play, us the playerbase, really need to be willing to receive some BIG changes in order to truly fix the balance of the game. After that, then Mythic+ can get back on track. I say, for the interim, remove the affixes on Mythic + up to +3, and buff the health of mobs. The gate for entry into Mythic + right now is way too high. Either that or just make Mythic 0 queable. Mythic+ has alot of problems, thats why Delves are favored so much right now.
That’s what my assumptions have been, which is why I have the feeling that my aug will see much more of the problems.
I tend to shove for KSH with the early waves, and tend to avoid the hard-stuck points.
Add in the fact that no one with the meta-obsessed brain rot invites Outlaw to keys, and I find myself in mostly chill groups.
The only “toxic” thing I have to interact with is the group finder minigame. Takes a bit longer to find groups, but the ones I find myself in are better quality.
Ironically, the people not trying to meta-stack a 10 are some of the better players, just looking to hang out for the vault.
Oh same I started the grind on day to be ahead of the pack as that always makes life easier and once you get that KSH in the first week or two you will never have an issue getting an invite even if you are not a meta class like myself. I just never encountered all this “toxicity” that is apparently everywhere or the “jumping on a person after 1 death cause key is over” when I look at some of my timed 10’s with upwards of 17 deaths in em.
But the problems people had with mplus like the timer, pressure, forced grouping, affixes are exactly who delves were made for. People who enjoy those things in mplus are still enjoying them and doing them so why change it suit to people who already have a content area for them?

This feels like it’s going back to the issue where people almost demand the ability to burn through everything 2-months into the expansion. M+ is supposed to be endgame content: there has to be some kind of gate or this forum would instead be full of posts about how M+ is too easy.
Also if you do any kind of content or crafting - even casually - you outgrow delve gear very, very quickly.
People need to chill a little.
You get the same gear from delves as you do from end of run mplus 10 ( hero track ). You can also get gilded crests from delves that allow you to craft myth track gear.
It’s my understanding those crests are very rare, and I’m not talking about vault drops.
They are but its also repeat no limit a day available content.
Gildeds from delves are rare, runed are 2 per run. You could theoretically be 619 ilvl having done nothing but delves and crafting already. At which point you get 15+ gilded a week.
Most high level players also agree this season is bad, the only people who are really championing this season as being good are 1400 hero type players.

Life is good on the main. Life is awful on the alts.
I’d be down to remove / replace champion’s peril otherwise I’m enjoying the keys I do. Feels a bit more meaningful that myth track gear is an actual progression to work towards instead of somewhat of a freebie.
