Short answer: no it doesn’t.
Long answer: M+ is fine the way it is. You plebs out there that want to walk though dungeons and spend hours frolicking through the fields are not the intended audience for mythic +. Many of us enjoy a challenge and enjoy going fast. We are the intended audience. This notion that you have to have add-ons to participate in mythics is also completely wrong. While there are some addons that definitely make certain aspects of the game easier, that doesn’t mean you have to use them. Move on and stop whining about content you are bad at. Instead just get good

People dont like timers, because of people like you. You act like a giga chad because you think you are good at mastering pixels. Its a game and people are getting older. The average age of this playerbase is probably in their mid 30s. We like challenging content, and we wouldnt mind timers if it didnt breed insufferable players like you. Even world first raiders who are the best at this game, dont have a toxic attitude like you. You might have good logs, but your attitude is downright disgusting. Someone give this fool a hug and some love.

The issue is that no content in modern WoW really matches the feeling of Vanilla dungeons. I.E. sprawling dungeons that feel more like a classic dungeon crawl and not a marathon you run through as fast as possible. In TBC they made dungeons disposable content intended to be run over and over again so they were made short, simple, and uninteresting. This honestly ruined dungeons as a feature. They tried to return to slower, more methodically paced dungeons in Cata… and well they flubbed it because they misunderstood what people wanted and filled them with insta-kill mechanics that made them akin to raid fights. Eventually, they made M+ to actually make use of the TBC-modern style dungeons But, even to this day many people want Vanilla style five man content that scales in difficulty.
The only thing that comes close to this are the “mega” dunegons which have a fixed difficulty and are designed to be split in half to serve as more M+ fodder later on anyways (lmao).
If they wanted to satisfy M+ and the people complaining, they’d include 2-3 mega dungeons at launch each expansion with a scaling difficulty feature but no timer. And they wouldn’t be compatible with M+ either. That’s really what needs to happen. Two seperate five man PVE formats.
Delves are basically a miniature version of this in terms of gameplay anyways and they’re proving to be very popular with the “casual” crowd. Putting modern dungeons in the game akin to BRD, (original) ST, etc. would be very popular.
See dude youre pushing buttons on the keyboard right now to type this wonderful comment, you can do mplus the clock wont hurt you i promise!! You got this dude!!!
I know i can, and if you looked me up like i did you, you would know I have obtained 3k io multiple times last expac. Just cause someone can do something, doesnt make it fun. Sounds to me like the only thing you are good at in life is this game. This false sense of power and superiority over others makes me feel sorry for you. I could push 3k if want to this season, but i wont because its not fun playing with people like you. Your toxic attitude is nauseating, and you a very much a vocal minority of the playerbase that thinks m+ is fine when it isnt. The risk and time commitment isnt worth the reward.

Wow youre so good yay im so proud of you overcoming the fear of a clock, youre amazing at pushing keyboard buttons i know you could do it!!! So proud blue!!!
You can still do mythic plus without the timer. Just don’t worry about it
Psh stop it thats not how the game works.
Unpopular opinion but Blizzard should design m+ going forward balanced around pugs.

“Aw, thanks Felpickle! Coming from someone who mastered the art of watching cooldowns and meters, that’s high praise. Maybe one day I’ll achieve your level of expertise at humblebragging too!”
Another troll post from another person who pays a sub and doesn’t play the game. I hope you got the attention you wanted. -$15
Imagine spending the bulk of your day whining about content in a game you pay monthly for but don’t play.

I might spend 30 mins tops on these forums per week.
Belluar just said in his latest video that devs from other companies basically just laugh at M+.
there’s no way you actually watch that guy’s videos LMAO! No wonder you are commenting on things you have no understanding of at all.
have you tried actually PuG’n anything? EVERYONE seems to be wanting the super fast “but i seen this on twitch” speed runs. Want to talk about something that needs a makeover? Ban live streaming.
I think I’d chalk most of that up to people being either afk or not really helping, plus just not avoiding avoidable damage. It might be tuned to hit harder but it’s not exactly got a strategy you need to execute.
Ironic because your replies on this new forum burner character are more “toxic” than anything I have experienced in m+ in like 4 years.

Been playing MMOs since the 90s, and I’ve played pretty much every MMO that has hit the market too. M+ is a garbage system for an MMO like WoW, it fosters toxcity, it creates a ton of anixety for most of the players that play WoW and severly limits what Blizzard can do with dungeon design.
The timer was lazy, and it was copied from Diablo, an idea of the Diablo 3 developers that were moved to WoW at the end of WoD. These clowns didn’t have a clue what they were doing when they implemented this system.
They have been too busy patting themselves on the back since Legion, to see how much damage M+ has caused to the game.
They have tinkered with the system in almost every patch, trying to balance it against the other pillars, but never quite getting it right, because it sucks.
You can’t take a system that is meant for an e-sport and shoehorn into a casual PVE game and expect it to work. Trying to design dungeons and class specs around speedrunning basically just creates homogenized design.
As long as I keep a sub, I will actively voice my disdain for this system on these forums.

Not reading all that. Happy for you, or sad.
Let me know when you play the game and form a real opinion.
