M+ Loot Bug

I submitted a ticket, they refused to help me. They said i needed to report this bug (which is already known, to a point that MAINTENANCE WAS DONE THIS MORNING) to this forum. So, Here I am.

Completed a +10 City of Threads last night. I got no auto loot (crests, valorstones) and then when i clicked the chest my game froze up. I could run around, but i couldn’t cast anything or do anything. I couldn’t even zone out. Upon force quitting game I couldn’t get back into game “Character with this name already exists”. I still have not received anything from the postmaster. I just want my crests!!!

This is not just M+. I have had this issue 5 times yesterday across multiple characters. I had it happen twice on a TW dungeon on the same boss. The second time 3 other people in my party had the same issue. I have encountered this in open world as well.

Yea it seems like it’s a problem with looting, possibly auto loot?

Loot at your own peril

Wow is currently broken. Looting is a gamble where you ante up your characters playtime against if you can loot the mob you just killed or the treasure chest you just found. If you’re lucky you get the loot, if you’re not, your character desyncs into purgatory. Chat works, but you can’t use any abilities, other characters in game see your character as looting, frozen. On your client you can run around but not use abilities. Only way to fix this is to close the game with ALT F4, logging out o…

Same here, i completed an 8 key just for crests before bed last night. game lagged out, couldnt open anything or loot the chest or cast any spells. could talk in chat and it was just me that it happened to. figured id see mail from the postmaster today but nothing.

I also submitted a ticket because I ran three separate dungeons across two characters, and I got denied loot, gold, crests, and valor stones on all three runs. The GM suggested I submit a bug here, but I’m thoroughly disgusted that I’m basically out a bunch of currency due to this bug.

I had this same thing happen last night. Completed a M+ on my druid and dh as a 3 chest. and at the end it didn’t award any crests or valour stones. and the chest was un loot able and game froze. couldn’t leave the dungeon and after force closing the game couldn’t load back in as it said “character already exists”
