I agree with this post. Well written. Good points.
Yes and 4 different difficulties of a single raid isn’t content either but there are people here that will tell you otherwise lmfao
I know right
Fortunately they are the minority and hope Blizz can really pull through their most trying time to make a good game again some day.
nice opinion, but i disagree
Sources? or just the loud minority on the forums?
KSM
oh? you’re forced? please tell me how?
no? your opinions don’t mirror even half the player base, I bet. don’t drag the players that like doing keys for gear down because you don’t like doing it
ah, you don’t want to do anything, you just want everything to be easy and given to you
i enjoy the great vault and m+!
god I hope blizzard doesn’t listen to you
Fixed your statement.
It’s cute when people use words like “content” and have no clue what the word means.
Very good observation and it looks like an accurate fix. Perhaps the Devs do think they don’t have to design content anymore and just try to pass off M+ in it’s place and hope everyone doesn’t leave or notice. At some point the Devs are gonna realize it won’t work though.
Your reply is entirely projection of your own problems.
You’re right, facts don’t care about feelings. You feel that M+ isn’t content.
You are objectively, factually, wrong.
Your feelings don’t get to define what content is. Your feelings can determine which content you enjoy, and which content you partake in, but people who completely misunderstand reality are in fact part of the problem. And you are one of those people.

Sorry you aren’t going to find many people that agree with you. Objectively speaking most people can see that daily’s, M+ and repetitive activities aren’t content.
Your feelings don’t get to define what content is.
I know that is why I factually explained the difference between an ACTIVITY and CONTENT so players like you can understand. You can understand where the majority of the community stand and activities like M+ will continue to dwindle. People are tired of it overall and want some actual content and for the activities they love to not be gate-keeped behind terrible systems.
This is why my old post was upvoted so much and why this one will be too. It’s best if we can take the first step forward in fixing the massive problems with this game that has spiraled out of control for a long time now. We can real the Devs back in and put them on a path of game design that is exciting.
Image having a great expansion that people enjoy again. Too much is wrong fundamentally with SL to completely fix it but we can start and pull some rip cords. Would be nice.
“When you’re watching Star Wars for the first time, you’re seeing a movie. Once you’ve seen it, it is no longer a movie.”
Watching the sequel trilogy wasn’t content or a movie the first time through, it was just a chore.
But more to the point, if you want to equate the current state of the game to shutting your brain off and clapping your hands whilst slack jawed and drooling, gleefully guzzling the slop Blizzard is feeding us, I won’t argue.
Being expected to watch any movie on repeat at least once a week so you can qualify to play a board game with your mates would be a bad idea, which is what M+ effectively comes down to.
But comparing a passive medium such as a film to an interactive medium such as a video game is just… just silly. Try again my dude.

Lmfao, what?
If you want to push high m+ keys or mythic raiding, it’s advisable to do m+ to get a comparatively good item with a mythic raid quality item in your weekly chest.
If you do not push high mythic + keys or participate in mythic raiding, you do not need to run m+.
It’s that simple. If you’re a casual player, you do not need to pretend that you’re required to run m+. You aren’t.
If you do not push high mythic + keys or participate in mythic raiding, you do not need to run m+.
You’re the type of person who sees the word ‘progression’ and can only think of mythic raiders mythic raiding. You don’t have the faculties necessary to participate in the discussion, my boy, but a worthy effort.

Oh the irony.
If you do heroic or normal raiding, you will receive such quality in your weekly chest. The quality in your weekly chest will mirror the content in which you participate, and it will be sufficient. Normal/heroic guilds are casual. They won’t kick a member for not running 15 m+. If they do, they’re laughably lacking in self-awareness.
Simply put, if you don’t want to m+, don’t. Unless you’re pushing the highest difficulties of content, it is truly unnecessary. Whatever activities you do engage in will provide reasonable gear rewards for you to effectively do those activities.
Oh the irony.
Methinks you don’t know what irony is.
Unless you’re pushing the highest difficulties of content, it is truly unnecessary.
Unless you’re pushing low tier content, normal dungeons and lfr are unnecessary. Unless you’re pushing mid tier content, heroic dungeons and normal raiding aren’t necessary. Congratulations, you’ve successfully made a non-point.
You’re out of your element Donnie.
Methinks you don’t know what irony is.
Intelligent people who have been in more than one argument don’t resort to personal jabs every comment. This is either your first time or you don’t fit the initial criteria. (Isn’t it fun when people take time to post unnecessary personal jabs? Really enhances the conversation).

That isn’t the point I made at all, lmfao.
Please consider the context of the OP. The OP is complaining that he doesn’t want to do m+ because he wants to do casual bg’s. Fortunately, there’s no requirement for him to do m+.
I think you’re more concerned with inserting unnecessary jabs than you are with reading comprehension. Again, what fun!
I’m bored now. I think I understand a very casual player whose primary drive for competition in WoW is angry forum posting when I see one. All the best
You feel that M+ isn’t content.
It is content. It’s just garbage content.
It is content. It’s just garbage content
It is content. It’s just garbage content for players who aren’t skilled enough for it.
“Arena is bad and it’s a meme” - player who hasn’t broken 1.2k.
“Mythic+ is garbage content” - player whose highest cleared key is an untimed 7

That wasn’t a personal jab, that was you misapplying the word ‘irony.’ You can use it in the improper context, but if you take standard and basic correction this personally, like I said, you’re lacking the faculties for this discussion. It’s not an insult, it’s a statement of fact. That said, if you don’t want to use words properly, “but muh feelings be insulted” isn’t a defense.
there’s no requirement for him to do m+.
There is if you want to do anything that requires above a 210 ilevel. Which if you do group content, is a major chunk of what’s here. I don’t really understand how you think that’s debatable.

Kettle calling the pot black much? Claiming victimhood whilst lobbing insults of your own. Very well, scamper along then.

Korthia gear.
