M+ is killing WoW

There are a ton of runs up all the time.

I mean it’s fine to not enjoy mythic+ or dungeons, but trying to paint them as something to be removed when a lot of people enjoy them and you don’t even do them is weird.

I’m much closer to playing Classic than trying again in Retail.

The philosophy of having a long adventure doesn’t exist in retail. I miss that.

There’s no point to retail PvE, because of LFR and the easier difficulties.

In Classic, you aren’t gonna see the dungeon until you’re ready to do it.

I hope you’re ready for no one wanting to do the long dungeons there, too.

Be prepared for SM spam.

Classic era is really fun for a lot of different reasons.

Go try it out.

It’s amazing to me that both horde and alliance get a dungeon right next to their city of a similar level range (Gnomer and SM) yet SM is vastly more popular even for alliance that have an insane run to get there.

People will literally go 40 minutes out of their way just to run a short dungeon

That’s only because you haven’t realized the great reality of Mythic dungeons being life support to 1 % of the player base and we need to keep them happy.

2.3 million unique characters have done a mythic+ key so far in season 2.

Even including alts, if that is 1% of the playerbase WoW is doing AMAZING.

poggers where do you find those numbers

WoW has 23 million players? Holy crap.

Right under the bar graph showing the classes.

For total number of runs you can click the double arrow to go to the last page.

15,565,880 completed mythic+ runs so far this season.

If you go to Raider io and look at total runs, it’ll show you the sample size list below the graphs. It’s 2.3 million.

Keep in mind that doesn’t include disband — only finished keys, so the size is smaller than that in actuality, too.

poggers, that said that means im getting old and i should just stop playing this game

Or you pay a level 60 mage to carry you.

For a company as big as Blizzard this shouldn’t be an either - or.
They could, and should, be able to do everything you’re talking about AT ONCE.
This is a management issue. Pure and simple.

I totally agree with OP, but Blizz put all their fish in the M+ and keys basket and I doubt they will try something new to keep the masses occupied.

Melodrama, much? Those ignorant masses, who will eat whatever slop is served their way!

I mean “the average player” - you know the type, thinks they are great at this game, wants the best stuff and achieves…

Get use to it. People attitude change overtime. People don’t want to have to wait for 19 others to raid or set aside a few hours a day each week to raid. People just want to enjoy content whenever they want. Smash a few dungeons whenever. I been dealing with family issue over the past 2 weeks and if I was set in a raiding schedule it would not work. But with M+ I can still sit down and knock a dungeon or two to have fun and relaz

Sorry to pop your bubble but this have been happening in BC and WoLK. People leave dungeons all the time since tank aren’t pulling fast enough or the run is taking too long.

I have never used LFR even once, I just fear it will be like M+ and someone will say "boot that druid! She doesn’t have the Ring of Despair or the Helm of Stupidity, or whatever gear I’m missing to be considered an Uber raider, and life is depressing enough to have to deal with that.
