Well where should I start`? Maybe that you can’t enter +10 in PUGs IF your not Meta OR you don’t participate in CE raiding. You simply have no option to get proper gear to push through this wall. Meanwhile mythic elitis rush through 11+ with their 627 gear and filthy casuals need to feel the pain in +10 weekly no leaver with no hope other than a garbage vault.
Meanwhile Dragonflight (Peak Casual) we could get the ma vault WAY below +20. It was fine it was doable.
Elitists like you and Ions hardcore agenda runied this game during shadowlands and they destroy it once again.
Bring on more invalid arguments. I got plenty of time queueing as resto druid for +10. I got hours it’s fun
Not true… Like actually and statistically false. I’ve done 10’s with survival hunters and affliction locks. Very doable on non meta classes.
Crests upgrade, crafted gear, and gear isnt the only thing required to push through walls sometimes thats okay as well. If I have full gear and stand still and dont hit buttons I should not time a key… gear is not a substitute for not understanding the game or how to play your class. Gear helps but if you can’t do the key you can’t do the key.
WAY below is an 18 — todays 8. The goal post is 1 key harder… Linking your character I am sure that we would see that you were not doing 18s week 1 2 and 3.
Dude ion has been in charge for long before shadowlands and was for dragonflight too. If you liked dragonflight… congrats that was him.
It’s always entertaining that people with “jobs” and a “life” can never be good at anything lol. They must forever be bad at every single hobby no matter what.
you’re the only one conflating a player’s ability with a players access to higher key groups. There are a lot of good players stuck at +7s or +8s because getting into pugs at +9 or higher is becoming increasingly difficult.
Those who are doing +9s and above are (understandably so) only inviting people with the higher ilvls that can only be achieved with gilded crests. With gilded crests locked behind +9s at minimum, a ton of players are effectively being stonewalled out of progressing their gear to actually get invited to +9 or higher keys.
The other poster brought up RL and jobs not me lol.
It also sounds like you’re saying players pushing into 9s and 10s are way too scared and don’t want to group with others also pushing into 9s and 10s. They don’t trust others in similar gear to them lol? Nobody has their own key? Or is it that weird predicament where it’s simultaneously impossible to get an invite because of so many applicants while also nobody ever applies to groups?
They brought up RL and jobs but didn’t make a connection between a players skill and a players access to higher key dungeons.
Quite frankly, no. Players don’t trust others with similar gear to them when players with higher ilvl gear are easily available. Then when it comes to posting their own keys, some dungeons are just miserable to do at the moment and no one wants to do them because of the high chance of depletion, leavers, and failures.
Your right. M+ right now takes practice it always used to but it didn’t happen at lower levels. There are alot of awkward overlaps and mechanics that aren’t intuitive. I had a friend who I ran with in DF Season 3, similar skill level who played what looked like 18 hours days when this season came out and got to 10s first week. I’ve got about 4 hours on Sat and Sun for m+ which used to be enough to get gear and push at the end of season. It isn’t now and my concerns mimic yours. I think in a few weeks though the people who are dipping back into 9s and 10s for crests will never step foot back in them and try and run higher keys the rest of the season.
It is so annoying to see these people be so thick as to let the thread be derailed by the same 4 individuals that routinely derail every thread about M+ feedback.
STOP FEEDING THE TROLL. THE IGNORE FEATURE EXISTS FOR A REASON. NOT EVERY THREAD NEEDS TO DEVOLVE INTO 90% POSTS OF BACK AND FORTH WITH THEM.
I mean it just filters said players into that bracket which sounds miserable having 2 keystone levels filled with the hypothetical players you described. Not trying to make a cringe “git gud” comment but being geared in 619 ilvl gear the only thing stopping players is bad mechanical play and players can surmount that wall together by improving mechanical play rather getting 100 to 0 by unavoidable aoe.
THAT BEING SAID
While I think its perfectly fine that you should have to do harder content to get better gear keys scaling is too high, especially going from +9 to +10s. There should be a balance between gear being challenging to get but viable that one doesn’t need to do a Rocky style training montage or get severely over geared to go up 1 keystone level. It should be difficult but at a level where one can succeed with making some minor improvements of play. It should be a challenge but its too steep given gearing options and scaling. Either they need to tone down key scaling and/or allow gilded crests drop from 8s but still keep myth track in the 10s bracket.
I looked up the vendor on Wow and it’s called glorious cluster of gilded crests costs 90 of the runes and gives 15. So 4 weeks past your last upgrade and you can make your first 636 item!
