M+ changes in DF are bad

Someone who uses the old argument of a poster not being able to comment on a subject based on the fact that it is a Classic toon.

What I said was 100% true and fit. 100% of it was accurate. You couldn’t think of anything better to say than to try to make an insult based on the toon I am posting on.

And you took my post out of context. I have nothing wrong with repeating content, I do it often. I do it in retail a lot and that is why I am upset about this.

In Classic you have something to show for it. In retail you dont. I grind out back to back t back keys… and get a belt piece. when what I really wanted was a new trinket from the GV.

Or I get back to back to back boots. In Classic at least you can choose what loot you get.

They dont do it off of this new cheap predatory gambling system that they have in retail now. Yes this is by definition gambling. I spend real life money to pay for my sub and that money goes to me getting a reward from the GV that I dont even know what it will be until I open it up.

If you ran 20+ keys one week, got a reward, you only do 17s the next week, you get a lower piece than what you already have. Whats the point. Pretty sure my highest ever key rating would be more than your 4 seasons combined on that toon.

wow that’s amazing. i’m honored to be replying to a Genuine Gamer™

A 20 will be like a 22.5 with the new scaling and for me anyway that will still be doable.

Seeing how you have to flex by pulling out your main cuz you couldn’t finish the fight on your other toon… Missed flex. Knocking down 25s on that toon and still cant get your full clear of KSH. And i said I bet my main key runner is more than that other toon’s entire key running history combined with just one season. I do play retail. Doesn’t mean I like it.

I made valid points on my OP in the thread. You chose to ignore them… (Probably out of jealousy) and instead decided to come at me with insults about posting on a Classic toon.

It’s also a solid bet that they will continue to tune player power. We have no idea how difficult a DF 20 will be compared to a SL s4 20.

Look at what happened with D3 GRs. A GR 70 in s1 was pretty solid. A GR 100 this season is barely getting started. Players didn’t get that much better, the tuning has just moved the target.

i’m not trying to flex, i’m trying to point out that some of us don’t necessarily post on the characters we play on the most

???
what do you think KSH is

You have done a few KSH runs. That does not mean you did a full KSH clear as I stated. I play Retail, Wrath and SOM. Lot to balance in play. The rogue you posted on has a full KSH clear. Your other toon does not. So me saying you had to flex is correct.

Coming at me first with an insult about how me playing Classic means I have no voice here. You started this. You went out of your way to single me out and I responded.

Look at our chat history. You went out of your way to try and single me out and tried to embarrass me as well. All I did was responded to what you said to me. My OP was targeted at no one. You felt the need to flex. You assumed I am just some random Classic player who never steps foot in retail.

so what? when did i claim it did?

where did i insult you? you suggested m+ be removed because nobody likes repeating activities. i made a joking comment pointing out that classic is itself a repeated activity, since it’s literally re-playing content that came out many many years ago. that’s it. you somehow got on the topic of m+ rating. i didn’t bring that up, or call you bad, or anything like that.

Im a WoW player just as you are. My opinion about the game is just as valid as yours. There are people right now who are reading this thread who would put both of us to shame in keys. Most of us who are playing Classic at end game have also done the same for retail. And most of us Classic players do not like the state that retail is in. Hence why we play in Classic mostly.

Classic is a grind that feels rewarding with time well spent.
Retail is a grind that feels draining with time that was wasted.

i agree! fortunately they’re not going to remove m+.

They removed the Challange modes which were slightly similar in a way. A dumbed down easier version of keys. And they went over legacy. Anything with keys goes into Feats of Strength.

I want them gone because I don’t have the time to do them on multiple toons and all of my classic stuff too. Too much of a grind for me and it is frustrating.

I dont ever bet on Blizzard doing anything right until its to late.

I think they only removed CMs because they were introducing M+. But I could definitely be wrong about the timeline there. I did the CMs in MOP but then lost interest in 5-man content and just focused on raid. Personally I love M+ and have very little interest in raiding, so I’m happy to see it’s still getting attention!

In general I agree but what I saw early in this expansion is for average players it put progression through better gear out of reach for them. A fixing the barn door after the horses come home issue. The gear they needed to complete normal was in heroic, the gear they needed to be successful in 5’s was from 10’s

For the top 25% it’s probably not that bad, but for the bottom 50% it can be a road block.

Yea it’s hard to say how many people will stop participating if they find it too difficult. Blizzard seems to think that the players will migrate over to raiding which I don’t think is the case. Imo they’ll end up paying for a boost or quitting

He has all the S4 achievements for it.

What are you thinking is a KSH clear exactly ?

It’s almost like Ursoc’s Fury Remembered helped you deal with necrotic /eyeroll

Do you not know what necrotic did?

Necrotic wounds:

Applies debuff to the struck player, reducing the potency of healing and absorption shields by 2% per stack.

Ursoc’s Fury Remembered is an absorb shield and it also got reduced by necrotic stacks. So, no… UFR was not a tool in my kit to deal with necrotic.

The shield from ursocs fury remembered used to ignore necrotic stacks. I dont know if it still does, but it did for a while.

I am not a fan of them increasing the scaling. Personally keys around 20-21 were a good challenge for me and I was happy with that.
