M+ changes in DF are bad

298 isn’t BiS gear. 298 equivalent, 411, is still KSM upgrade cap for clearing all 15s in Dragonflight too, meaning you’re not forced to put any extra effort.

Again : there’s only 2 of those, one of which is only usable by 2 specs. Meaning realistically speaking, there’s a single 430 item in the raid : the ring.

Some Hunters don’t even have the Sylvannas bow yet after all this time, much less a 311 version of it.

Bis without raids or vault rng gear.

BiS for KSM is just as valid a modifier when your BiS is limited by modifiers. You’re still keeping your 298 BiS in Dragonflight, KSM will give you 411s.

Maybe I just want to be able to farm bis without farminh raids or relying on rng vault.

I dunno. I like it simple hehe

I didnt know what that song was until it was a meme. My dad listened to things like Jim Croce and my mom listed to stuff like simon and garfunkle.

In the 80s I can remember bands like Poison, Motle Crue, aero smith and guns and roses but I cant say Hall and Oats was even a big thing. Obviously remember the 90s much better.

What bis are we talking about… like full ilvl bis or just bis items at heroic olvl?

What are you even arguing ? This puts you closer to that goal than ever.

Every 80s kid sat in a car listening to Easy listening radio. I can probably sing La Isla Bonita without skipping a beat and I’ve never liked Madonna.

Just the bis items at the highest you can upgrade them to. Normally I do fill vault every week but I got beta invite and also changed mains. So here is where I ended up hehe

Maybe thats the issue, i never listened to the radio unless it was country and western or an 8 track tape.

I really doubt your parents were still on 8 track in the 80s. Most cars had already graduated to cassettes.

Yeah, they were phased out in the early 80s but we were poor. We didnt have much but we had a big ol box of 8 track tapes in the back seat.

Hell, my dad had a 1979 oldsmobile toranado in 1995 that he gave to me me. It was my first car and that had an 8 track in it.

In fact, I have a record player in the other room with an 8 track in it right now. I dont have any 8 tracks to play in it though.

298 is very good. You’re not missing much between 298 and 304. I think the weapon is the biggest increase but all the other pieces give you 1 or 2 primary stat and 1 or two secondary stats

Yeah, Normally my OCD forces me to grind vault for those tiny increases but mmmm beta.

I gonna main devoker and fdk!

mhm BiS lists are weird as the usually need the higest ilvl to be BiS because of the secondary stats.

I’d say at a lower point you should be better just simulating

I dont mind M+ extending up to +20 as long as gear upgrades in each level is in tune to achieving success up to +20.

I hope +15 loots would help us beat +16, +16/+17 loots would help us beat +18, +17/+18 loots would help us beat +20. If the difficulty is overtuned like you wont beat +16 with full gear loots from +15, that’s something I dont want to happen.

I didnt try much above +15 in current M+ becoz there’s no better loots to seek for above +15.

NVM you posted it

To an extent but the keys scale way faster than gear. Between a 19 key and a 20 key there is an 80% increase in mob health and damage., meanwhile the gear difference is maybe 1%

Nuzlocke my friend. That’s hard

Yeah…

I can’t believe anyone might actually believe that games are never better when they’re harder. In fact, I would say the opposite, most games are continue to get better when they’re harder approaching some kind of peak where the game becomes too difficult to be played well “correctly”, such as nonsense like halo all skulls on which is basically just a fiesta of exploits and not actual gameplay.

Some games you don’t even appreciate the game properly if nothing pushes you to plum the depths of the system. It’s actually crazy that someone would argue the opposite. Like, people live in upside down world / perpetually stuck in opposite day or something if they think easy is good.

WoW players aren’t well known for their ability to step out of their comfort zone unfortunately.

WoW players might actually be the most conservative gamer crowd around.
