M+ causes major disparity with raid difficulty

That’s what I want to, but I want to shrink the gap between the raid only and the raid and M+ player, especially in the early weeks.

being 10 ilvls behind your guild and having no crests to upgrade due to not doing M+ is not fun for anyone involved.

It doesn’t do that, though, it disproportionately rewards people who focus on M+, even though they’re doing easier and faster content.

I’m ready. I miss BFA. Being able to queue 2s and fill in slots for pve was phenomenal.

I don’t miss the islands but the extra layer of customizations from corruption was cool.

Why? I play 40 hours a week in the early season, I should be 3x as geared as someone who plays 8. The fact that they can catch me at all is a testament to blizzards tilting the game in their favor.

Corruption after the vendor was okay, but we lost long-time players over the original corruption system.

I’ll never forget the words of one player, when she quit: “At least in Legion you could only get the bad legendaries once each.”

It’s almost like both are equal pillars to PvE endgame content and has been since Mythic Keystones were introduced in Legion…

I don’t understand why people complain about islands.

I mean it’s not really that controversial. I think most of us agree that if raid gear had Benthic properties that only worked in the raid, most players would be happier. If raiders stopped getting 457 loot and you got a “Benthic Sword” that gave it a special proc that only worked in the raid but was otherwise an ordinary 447, or the trinkets were much more tame but had double the power in raid, I don’t think any M+ player would be mad.

Just keep that stuff away from PvP/M+/Other Content.

Thank you. Twice the work, twice the pay.

They didn’t mind azerite or ap but hated corruption? :dracthyr_tea:

People like to claim it’s a gear issue when it’s always a skill issue. The people that don’t do M+ also happen to perform poorly for their item level.

I didn’t know anybody who was a fan of azerite or AP, either. Or grinding essences.

I wouldn’t have minded this if they were acc-wide. Alts felt actually impossible, lmao.

M+ isn’t work. Ideally raiding isn’t for raiders. You should play for fun.

I also don’t understand the complaints about essence grinds.

Generally, the players doing M+ are more skilled overall, quicker to adapt on the fly to mistakes, and just more aware of the mechanics of whatever you’re killing IME

It rewards people that do both.

If you limit yourself to only raiding or only mplus you’re going to have limitations.

It’s more of a cover charge to raid mythic.

Yeah, that has been my experience.
