M+ causes major disparity with raid difficulty

Every time raiders have been given an alternative, raising has nearly died.

They should make 10 man the target for mythic, but allow it to flex to 20. Maintaining a roster is everyones biggest issue with raiding.

They should remove the lockout on bosses, but bosses drops are now the same as m+, upgradable to 441.

Anything higher comes from the vault.

Raiding would double overnight.

And that is why having additional sources of loot is a good thing.

Chain pulling neth till everyone had class trinket would probably make me blow my brains out.

However, bringing back more timewalking raid events for places like bt, icc25 or nighthold and letting it drop gear upgradable to 441. Now you are talking.

Or they could just bring raid loot in-line with the rest of the game.

DOUBLING the number of loot drops in raid would bring it on-par with M+, on a per-person basis.

TRIPLING the number of loot drops in raid would also account for the existence of the weekly lockout. (Might actually require quadrupling, though.)

And nobody ever ask themselves why’s that, that unless raiding is the only route to the best gear in the game most people don’t want to deal with it.

They could have every boss drop every item on its loot table every time it’s killed.

No. Does watching 8 pairs of boots drop that no one wants sound fun? Just bring back dinars.

Yeah i’m a bit confused why they removed bonus loot tokens.

Yea, I don’t doubt it, raiding is bad content propped up by the gear that drops from it.

I feel a lot of people who raid, and maybe play WoW in general, view gear as a reward or goal; gear is neither of those things, it’s a tool that allows you to do the most difficult content you as a player or collective of players are capable of.

If by remove the lockout on bosses you mean bosses can be infinitely farmed over and over again, I personally wouldn’t care but that would lead to completely degenerate gameplay and next to nobody raiding past week one of the season. If they make that change, you’re just going to spend an hour getting everyone their BIS from each boss.

And this is why M+ and raiding cannot exist in the same universe, because M+ players insist that M+ be the only game in town.

Hence the premise of the thread: Iron Curtain

And raiders won’t be happy until everyone is as miserable as they are. That’s so much better.

Nobody is asking for M+ rewards to be nerfed. Get that silly bogeyman out of your head.

Which is what people do with M+ currently anyway. Like I said, if 1 guild of mine is already 8/9H - faster then we EVER cleared a raid, primary geared from M+/crafting and M+ crest farming, it’s ALREADY doing what you described in taking away a reason to raid. We’ll be AOTC within the 1st month, then what? We don’t do Mythic raiding.

M+ destroyed all content, not just raid.

M+ would destroy PVP too if PVP Doesn’t have pvp ilvl.

The idea that reputation and quest are limited per day but loot for M+ is unlimited is absurd in the first place, also why do we still has raid lockout anyway?

That’s exactly what happened to PvP rewards though. Per the request of raiders.

You raid 20.5 hours a week? Holy snichkies, that’s a part time job!

No wonder you look so pale.

You don’t need to ask for that because raiding loot is already massively overpowered - why would you need to nerf M+ loot when you’re already happy racking in the loot.

9pm - 1am is my “free time”, I spend it doing what I enjoy which is raiding. After I get AOTC I stop on that character until the next raid. So normally I raid hard a month or two, then take a few months off. If that makes sense.

M+ destroyed PVP in BFA basically.

I’m surprised anyone plays this game more than 6 hours a month honestly.

I blame the D3 developers for binging Greater Rifts to WoW, in order to appease people that want to poop sock the game 24/7.
