If running TW dungeons as a twink doesn’t feel pointless, I’m at a loss.
its odd… but its actually “fun”. I enjoy helping people and running a twink in timewalking gives me joy of knowing im making wow daily chore better for others by zooming them thru 5 dungeon in under a single queue time.
Plus zooming at mounted speed on foot makes me feel like im playing with a game genie installed in my pc
a group member recently asked me why i do it, and i said “fun” and they said what do you mean fun? I said i have fun and they couldnt understand why someone would have fun doing the weekly chore

Caring about your DPS (or any performance really) in TMW is a wild and insane take lol.
Its not an endgame activity.
This is not true lol. My level 11 twink can pull north of 10 million DPS on multi pack AoE pulls. The only limiting factor is that mobs usually die before you gather up enough to really start pumping.
Even if 80s could pull similar numbers, they don’t have time to ramp their damage and won’t have CD availability cause of how fast everything falls over in TW.
On single target a myth geared 80 with full CDs can keep pace with an 11 twink. As Arcane, TW bosses will die in a big burn phase. And my big burn burst phase will do more damage than an 11 fury warrior. But overall the 11 wins bigly.

A level 11 Warrior can literally–and I do mean literally–solo any TW dungeon right now. As the OP said, they will utterly SMOKE everyone else in the dungeon.

I’ll just leave this hilariously bad quote from Blizzard on how TW are “supposed” to function and you can see if level 11 1 shotting mobs fits that.

Post is on weekly reset, 11 Feb… i did run my twink last night 12 Feb… for my twink, i saw no difference in power, the run went as expected.
Having said that, scaling is a mess all over the chart… its not just low level twinks… the scaling is janky across the board.
Twinks aside, they definitely need to fix 75-79 scaling, 80 scaling may also need improvement… who knows, they may have made improvements elsewhere without touching twinks.
Yes twinks f2p can also lock xp, but since the account can’t trade, use mail or warband bank, you need to sell items to get the 10g to lock your xp

The only thing I dont understand is what this XP debuff thing is.
Since 8.2 twinks have a Debuff to party members 95% xp reduced

It’s weird because they did that change then moved all the xp to dungeon completion lol.
Can’t say I’ve seen a nerf to dungeon completion xp with twinks being in group.

Its only if its a pre-formed group. If you all just randomly end up in the zone together theres no dungeon XP nerf.
Some of the recent bans are from people manipulating things to get around this debuff.

LFG doesnt get this debuff? Ive had plenty of random groups with level 11 twinks and always seem to get the XP Im meant to.
have you tried pressing your buttons
How exactly do you press buttons other than w when the lvl 11 is 250 yards ahead of you killing 18 mobs at once and leaving with his loot.

You are 100% speculating, and also almost certainly wrong.
I know tons of twinks that bypassed the xp debuff who didn’t get banned… in fact, i dont know a single one who did get banned who did that.
To my knowledge everyone who did get banned claims they did nothing wrong (everyone in jail is always innocent).
Most of the “evidence” if there is any points to the usual suspects of 3rd party software, automation and/or botting.
Blizzard hasn’t said why, and unless you can link a blue post you’re 100% guessing like everyone else is… if you link reddit or another random player, everyone is guessing, so stop strutting around posting exactly why people got banned, because you don’t know, you’re guessing and most likely its a bad guess cuz out of everyone i know who twinks has been bypassing the xp debuff and none of them were banned, its something else.
By random que grouping, no, you get full xp. You only get the xp debuff if you intentionally group with a twink before queing for a dungeon.
Also, once randomly grouped with a twink, you can continue to que with that twink without the debuff… which means by Blizzard’s own admission, fast running through dungeons paired with a twink is ok by Blizzard sometimes and sometimes not… which is a really stupid policy.
Also because Blizzard has made it ok to bypass the xp debuff simply by whether or not it’s “random groupings” the twink community has found different ways to “randomly group” with people they want to help level.

Except now they’re going in random groups and doing their own thing. This is a problem. Not everyone wants to run through a dungeon feeling useless.
