Their OP is by design, Blizzard needs new players to feel powerful so they keep PAY… er i mean playing. So when you do a Timewalking at lvl 80 and iLvl 630, and get SMOKED by a level 11 in greens… it is because that is what Blizzard wants.
They’re*
I see no problem with it. I enjoy being carried by a lvl 11 twink. And Blizz is a for profit business so they, by design, want to encourage people to pay for things.
I’ve been reliably assured that level 80s out dps twinks
Rofl someone is still upset.
Get over it bud.
Blizzard doesn’t understand the player base and what we want. They couldn’t care less about us. They’re losing players because of it.
So incase someone farms a specific set of gear, enchant, and gems it
They can be OP, people will accidentally do this
That doesn’t hold water, 10&11 twinks are free to play, you never need to spend to do that
Twinking has existed in some form or another since vanilla. Blizzard added xpoff NPCs to support it after adding xp to battlegrounds (since twinks used to be a lowbie PvP focused activity).
They allow it to exist because it gives people an activity to do outside the normal power-grind. If the grind isn’t keeping people interested they hope side activities will keep them subbed instead and twinking is just a side-game.
you didn’t even correct their grammar correctly. lmfao. illiteracy has gotten this bad lol
their is correct. they should have said OPness. i.e. Their OPness is by design
Now let level 11s do keys if no one has any problem being carried by superior players.
It’s because of scaling. With how many stat squishes there have been, scaling will likely break somewhere, so why not at the low levels that people will speed through anyway?
It’s TW though.
Scaling is busted, you know this.
If you actually need to understand why speeding through levels is bad for the gamers in the game overall I dont know what there is to say.
Want red lights removed so your grocery trip takes 30 less seconds?
I love it when i get one of those level 11 gnome warriors in my timewalking dungeons. Always fast, always smooth. Basically just free levels.
Nah, if the lvl 80 is at ilvl 630 he won’t get SMOKED by a lvl 11 in greens… now a lvl 11 in enchanted blues with gems… YES… he will get SMOKED… but not in greens.
so this is because you’re all bent over getting outdps’ed by a lowbie?
Unfortunately, I think we are seeing the new player base and they are louder than those who have stuck with the game since the beginning.
Twinks have always been a thing, but they usually stuck with other twinks.
The new generation wants insta leveling and insta… pretty much everything.
Those of us who worked our way through each expansion and leveled up by grinding… we’re the old guard. This new generation of player doesn’t understand everything that we have gone through and everything that we’ve paved for them by sticking with this game.
Yes, there are other games, but the time sink and money I’ve personally put in…I don’t want to go to another game. I love this game.
There’s gotta be a happy medium that will please the old guard and this new generation of players.
I bet he joined a random TW with the intent to screenshot the meter and show how OP he is but a lvl 70 in greens doubled his DPS
how bad do you have to be to worry about a low-level player’s DPS in a Timewalking dungeon?
Scaling is the worst thing to happen to LFG.
For me, and others are going to disagree, it’s weird to be in an instance as a level 80 with level 10’s and they are out performing me on DPS. I do a fair job with my damage and when some level 10 is crushing it, I actually lose interest in doing the instance.
There should never be a level 10 to 80 scale. It’s just way too big of a gap.
Maybe 20 levels in difference, but not 70. It’s just not natural and…like I said… it’s weird.
But this is what Blizz wants, so it’s impossible to argue against it.
