I don’t like slower dungeons period. I only have a certain amount of time to play and I don’t want them taking longer than they currently are. So no not everyone wins - almost no one wins. Your reason for changing them is ridiculous.
Oh okay. I want everyone who wants a more authentic dungeon experience to win, then. You’ll lose I suppose.
Well said.
Well there it is - you are doing this for yourself.
Not just me, no.
Conversely, you’re rejecting it for yourself.
That has ZERO to do with knowing what your “buttons” do, I’d hate to play a game of football/soccer with you.
Leveling right now it absurdly fast. Even casually you can get a character to 70 in like an afternoon.
Imo it is too fast. Like you’re at the end game before you even get your bearings.
What really sucks is that the people who consider everything except end game to be “trivial” would complain about Blizzard selling boosts if they actually fixed that issue.
As for dungeons, if the dungeons were retuned to slow it down just a little bit that would be perfect. Just enough so that tanks in average gear taking on more than one pull at a time will kill them. No more than two pulls in excellent gear.
This won’t even slow it down that much but it will make it easy for inexperienced players to easily keep up.
Blizzard already did this during legion - the fact they switched it back indicates to me that most people didn’t like it. I just stopped leveling characters entirely during that period and I imagine plenty of others also stopped.
I’m okay with new player not figuring out their buttons. The issue isn’t that they haven’t figured them out. I brought it up because it makes it all the more difficult to keep up when everyone else is rushing to the end.
What I want is for all new players to enter a dungeon with other players and that dungeon go at a pace where they can enjoy the pulls one at a time rather than having everyone permanently holding W.
If they make low level content harder it wont be the good players that fill the forum whining about it
as a side topic, its good to know many understand this fact.
That “Wow is an MMO” nonsense every time we ask for solo content is getting a little annoying lol
There is no shortage of solo content.
What there is a shortage of is multiplayer content that is fun for new players.
In retail anyway. Classic wow has a lot of very fun multiplayer content for new players.
Bear in mind that Mists Remix kinda set a death race 2000 speed run tone that I think kinda ruined any chance of ever slowing the game down again.
If you participated in dungeons or LFR in Remix you saw the breakneck pace that left a lot of players from even getting to the next bossed, locked out because rushy tanks couldnt take a second and make sure everyone was there to enjoy some participation.
Im 100% with you…its nice to enjoy the dungeon and see the scenery EVEN IN dungeons Ive run a thousand times in a lot of cases.
Blackrock depths, for example, we’ve taken nearly an hour to do a full clear with a 5 minute break at half time where we just stood around and talked for a bit before finishing the run.
But dont expect that from 99% of the runs you’ll ever see…even slower players dont seem to want to take time to smell the pretty flowers in this game anymore…they seem to think its a chore just to log in, which makes me wonder why they still do log in at all, to be honest
how…exactly?
Delves can be run with multiple players…as can even follower dungeons.
where did you get limited on group content?
I don’t think they should be hard, just hard enough that we can’t W key to the end like we’re doing right now.
Ironically, dungeons being too easy is bad for new players, because of the behavior they incentivize for the rest of the party.
Delves are end game content and require the xpac.
uh…ok? I fail to see how this has limited group play in any way.
you mean like world content…world trash where you two shot everything?
if so, 1000% agree. I like a little resistance playing world content when Im playing at level (as opposed to when Im out of CT and rushing to farm a mog or mats or something)…otherwise the game gets pretty mundane.
I love scaling, but it needs to be better.
I haven’t done delves myself but aren’t delves solo content?
They can be solo or group.
