The only responses Blizzard seems keen on making are “look it used to be like that I told you so” , you know; unless of course it comes to 2 week pre-patches, warp stalker mounts, or any other odd change they feel is necessary.
Their approach won’t make me not play TBC, but it definitely makes me not want to buy D4/D2 remaster or anything else they work on in the future; but again, I doubt they care.

I started today at 1k honor.
I bought the 2 min trinket and am about 1k honor away from buying the neck.
Mostly just been doing eots and mark turn ins, did do one or two ABs to get the daily.
Alliance side
I just pugged 1 AB (weekend) and 1 AV. Won AB and lost AV… both games took me each 30 min so about 1 hour. I made 700 honor from this.
1 Piece of the set costs like 22k no? thats 22+ hours for one item. I have no idea how I had the time or the persistence to farm this 15 years ago.
Why would Alliance quit when their ques are normally instant?

This is a good point. The gear will come. Just do the content you like doing in the game. Classic TBC just came out. There’s no rush.
What blows my mind, is how easy it is to find 100’s of hours of pvp footage from 2007, watch the footage, and extrapolate the correct honor values.

It’s because 15 years ago, the time investment in that equation was about half. Grinding an offset piece per weekend day (8 ish hours) with 50/50 W/L in pugs was how it ended up playing out.

It has got to the point where my group isn’t even going to farm honor main pieces. The only thing I wonder now is if blizzard is going to let people stock up on honor for next season. Feels like should just skip buying anything w/ honor this season and save for s2 off pieces at this rate.
They aren’t wrong though…because you would have had to start raiding to supplement your gear in order to continue to do arena
