Lost Time Warp Badges

I’m sorry, Korlene, but there simply isn’t any record of what happened to the badges. Customer Support is unable to assist here outside of what we have already stated.

Reporting this as a bug is the only option, but again, I don’t know if there are logs available that would be able to confirm how many badges you may have had, which means we’d be unable to restore those to you.

Years of running and saving these badges and Because of an issue created by blizzard, I am just OoL?

That is not right.

I don’t disagree with you, Korlene, I would like nothing more than to be able to verify the loss of those badges so they could be restored.

I know it rings hollow, but I am very sorry that we cannot.

For sure, but the problem is that there is no alternative. There is no other avenue that can be taken.

There is always an alternative, especially when it comes to the fault of the company not the customer. Sure if it was something I did wrong or exploitive, I understand this response, But I didn’t. I did what Blizzard said I could do. I consolidated my currency on 1 toon and then they just disappeared. They have acknowledged that it is happened. They have said they have seen it. I have the tickets and email responses for it all. And no one will do anything about it.

It definitely sucks when Blizzard messes up and you get punished for it. Happened to me before, but not with 26k timewarped badges, I still quit for a few months though lol. I hope they do something in the future to ‘log’ current inventory/bank and currency somewhere so issues like this and the guild bank fiasco don’t keep happening. Sorry this happened to you!

Please be reasonable - the replies said that the devs are looking into it, not that they’re not going to do anything. The devs themselves don’t reply to tickets. If they can’t fix it, then it can’t be fixed. The GMs are unable to help as they only use the chat logs they have to do any actions like this. Moving items/gold/alt money between toons isn’t something that broken in this event.

Getting workup over this won’t change anything, try to breath.

I am being very reasonable. And I would suggest you go back and actually read this thread. Because it was Broken. This happened Months ago. When the ability to transfer warbound currency was activated. It then Broke and blizzard shut it off for a few days and they fixed it, but all of us who had our currencies disappear were still affected.

Because your sole interaction with your tickets is with the GMs. GMs cannot do anything that hasn’t been ordered by the Dev team or The Powers That Be. People tend to liken a GM to some godmode figure, but they are bound by what they are allowed to do. In this case, their hands are still tied. You have done all that you can do, they’ve done all that they can do at this current point of things.

Does it suck? Absolutely. Should this have happened? Absolutely not. But that it did, and there still isn’t a resolution to it. Posting here, you’re only posting to your fellow players as this forum is one for us to help one another, with our SFAs who try to pop into threads and offer what insight they can.

Boosting this old thread, it’s essentially spam - and I mean that as kindly as I can. I want you to get your badges back, but some things are a lesson in futility. Shooting in a ticket now and again to see if a resolution has been reached? That would be my suggestion, so long as it’s not back to back and you get hit with a warning about staff harassment. Posting here, we cannot do anything more than what you’ve already done with tickets and Bug reports.

I got it from your reply, where they said the devs are looking into it and the GMs not able to interfere with it. It’s out of their hands.

Well I would not expect players to be able to do anything with Customer service. You don’t work for blizzard do you?

And this is where I have the issue. Why is it not resolved yet. THe issue and bug has been corrected. Where is my resolution…

Your resolution is “restoration is never guaranteed.”

That is not what the GM ticket says.

“In regard to the previous transfer that you have made, our dedicated developers are currently working on restoring this one for you, this process may take a little while to reimburse the Timewarped Badges again, but I assure you that this will be resolved as soon as possible.”

Vrak, along with anyone blue text, works for Blizzard, they can see the replies and anything else related to the ticket system. If he says there isn’t any records to restore them, then that’d be the answer. They can’t give someone something because they say so, it’d cause so much issues if they did.

What’s the timestamp on that?

Issue ID #100165668 Answered on 8-6-24 by Game master I*********

There’s the answer. They were looking into it around August 6, could not verify the losses, so they cannot restore them. Also to note:

Resolved does not mean restored. Resolved means that an answer will come soon. Unfortunately, that answer was a no.

"Hello (My name redacted),

This is Game Master Iunuuwenje, from Blizzard Entertainment! At your service.

I can completely understand that you are missing Timewarped Badges that you have transferred from a character to another, allow me to check this one further for you.

After looking into it, I really apologize for the delays and inconvenience that you have faced, I can confirm that this was not working as intended and our developers are aware of it and actively working on resolving it.

In regard to the previous transfer that you have made, our dedicated developers are currently working on restoring this one for you, this process may take a little while to reimburse the Timewarped Badges again, but I assure you that this will be resolved as soon as possible.

And for now, this has been resolved for future transactions, so we made sure that you will not face this moving forward.

If there’s anything else we can do for you, please don’t hesitate to send another message.

Thank you for reaching out to us,
GM Iunuuwenje"

From Ticket US100165668

you should make sure to read the whole thread before responding… They specifically said I would be reimbursed.

That is NOT what that means, Korlene.

Resolved means it is fixed so it doesn’t happen any longer - which it was.

Sometimes the devs can do restorations - sometimes they can’t. That is a whole other discussion and never guaranteed.
