Oh I see a problem all right, inspecting roll winners.
People like money and Xmog. Deal with it
oh and therre are some ugly people that just enjoying ruining things for other people. No those people and bots. That’s what needs to be removed
You folks keep talking about Transmog -
Transmog would stay the way it is - there is a seperate roll for that already. It already falls below everything else in the order of things.
Again - People with no morals posting all over this thread crying about this and that like a 12 year old trying to divert attention from the broken cookie jar on the floor - You are the problem.
You mean the greed/disenchant icon?
And that’s where it falls in YOUR opinion. Someone needing for mog is just as valid as your wanting for ilvl.
If they can hit need then they have every right that you do to roll on it.
Last I checked the only one crying here is you.
And your entitlement is the problem.
its a common mindset because it is literally the most fair set up. they were there for the kill just like you were so why do you think that you are more entitled to gear than them?
If I want it I hit need, ez
Exactly. If they truly want to fix the transmog issue in LFR, then let transmog be a need roll, and if it wins then that person gets the transmog and next highest roll gets the item, and on down the line.
Everybody is happy.
I agree with you that the current system is being abused, because I’m doing it. I have an army of alts that I’ve kept at the proper item level for LFR, and every week I go in and try to win transmog appearances I don’t have. I’m an AotC Raider, I don’t like LFR, but I want the appearances so I do it. However, the flip-side to this system is that if you have an item at a higher item level already, you can’t roll on the mog. So I keep the relatively low-item level alts. And unfortunately, there’s really no reason for me to ever roll the Transmog option over need because if I’m doing a pug LFR, there’s never NOT going to be someone who needs the items I want. So I roll.
Personally, I think the best option for this is to have a system that works like the Ensembles in the Trial of Valor raid. In Trial of Valor, Hela can drop an Ensemble for the Normal and LFR sets for your armor type. This means you can do the content you want without having to actually take items from other players. It would be nice if I could clear Normal and have a chance at winning a transmog Ensemble from LFR from each boss, for example.
I don’t know if Blizzard would do this, but if their goal is to get me into LFR content for the sake of que times then LFR players are gonna have to accept that I am going to try and take those items and shove them into my transmog closet. That is the way, unfortunately.
(Unrelated, but I only need one piece of cloth to have every cloth mog! 2H Staves and 2H Strength weapons are by far the hardest thing to win.)
If you don’t have it as a Transmog that roll option is there for you.
What you are describing is rolling NEED on items for the transmog, but on an ALT so you fall under the normal parameters for NEED and not rolling need on an item when you have a far superior item equipt or in the bank.
I’d prefer personal loot again . Coming from the perspective of someone who has to pug all content for most part , it’s a far more equitable system. Because I’m in different groups every week it’s that much harder to target items.
I rather avoid losing items to people who die 5 sec into a fight or roll for a friend or roll cause they want to auction of something I need for gold.
This will still happen under personal loot.
Tell us you don’t understand how the loot systems work without telling us.
Thankfully the worst loot system Pl is never returning.
Always cracks me up when people say this and they don’t realize PL doesn’t change that
There is no loot system that is going to fix people being greedy, that’s exactly why loot is rolled for.
yeah, totally useless to a outlaw rogue right?
We responded with rational thinking. Sorry that upset you, I guess.
Fixed it for you.
Right. So this is called vendor spec. And if i contributed to the boss kill, I too get to roll on the item for the gold it is worth.
See above comment.
LFR would take 45 mins a wing without the carries like us. Trust you don’t want this.
I need gold
The thing is, it doesn’t sound harsh. People aren’t entitled to loot because they have a lower ilevel, and the players who keep making these threads need to get that through their skulls.
If you really had morals, you wouldn’t be trying to tell other players, who contributed just as much as (probably more than) you, what they do and don’t deserve.
Your morals are “I deserve it because I said so”, which are the morals of a child.
You are the only one crying in this thread. The cognitive dissonance here is wild.
Please fan the flames some more. You are so good at it!
