Sounds like you are trying to defend an unfair loot system and are getting salty when I counter all your bad takes.
The raid is more important than the individual. LC works well with this philosophy.
EPGP could still be used if your goals don’t include pushing the guild to be better and would rather focus on yourself.

Um, in a proper EPGP system it is public so if something like that was happening it is obvious. Every distribution of points is recorded and logged in an addon in a proper guild.
The system is not the problem, in this case.
So you are trying to argue governments are bad because some governments are corrupt.

It doesn’t work for me because I like fair systems. And I’ve said I like EPGP which is a fair version of DKP. Lul, you are bad at arguing.

just like loot council isn’t the problem when its ran by a bunch of jack three letter words who are distroing out loot to their besties. yes there are some bad experiences with loot council but when its ran correctly it is by far the best option to gear a raid. sad for you is that any other system is just fake news compared to loot council being better.

Easy question.
The person with the most EPGP points that meets the requirements for that weapon as setup by the guild ahead of time. You can restrict it to the classes that actually can benefit from it (i.e. not hunter).
If you want it you should save your points so you have the most. That doesn’t mean passing all other gear in a EGPG system.
Only trolls says this because they don’t know how the system works or how it can be configured.
Speed running guilds should give it to a warrior first.
But non speedrunning guilds I would give it to your best performing ret/war/dk in no particular order. Best to actually do a split run and give it to two at once.
WRONG! it should to the absolute best ret paladin. they scale best with they get more damage from it. then it scales second best with an unholy dk. then fury. sorry. you clearly don’t know how to distribute a legendary out. your thoughts on how loot gets distributed is meaningless at this point since you’d run a legendary though egpg. it isn’t just some dumb drop from a raid.
I would agree, but i’d also see the problem if they couldn’t do split runs. maybe shuffle one off to an alt run. if they can do that.
Wrong. That is your opinion. Weapons like this should go to those people who have been in the guild the longest and participated the most.
It is more of a player > class issue.
This is why you want to be in a LC guild where you can try and cry to the guild leadership or become friends with them to make sure you get the gear you want.
It has nothing to do with making the guild stronger. And at that point of WOTLK that literally doesn’t matter since you have the raid on farm.
Soft Res system with like 2SR is amazing. Solves alot of issues and lets people go for the pieces they each want.

It’s only a minor dps upgrade for an unholy dk over their bis DW set up. Fury will be getting more than a ret from smourne too and likely your highest dps by that point.
Why does the extra dps matter when you literally have the raid on farm? You can’t get the weapon in 1 raid run LUL.

You probably don’t even know how you get it.
You have no clue how this game works and are brainwashed by your dumb guildmates and probably GM to believe loot council is good.
So say you have Mage A and Mage B. They each SR 2 different items every week. Every one of Mage A’s items drop every week and none of Mage B’s items drop at all, so after 3 weeks Mage A has 6 bis pieces, while Mage B has nothing. I have literally seen this happen and Mage B is not a very happy person after three weeks.
Bad RNG doesn’t mean the entire system is bad.
Some guilds never got a Thunderfurry in Classic so Classic was bad by extension.
