Loot council is the worst loot system, you can't change my mind

Or a Warrior don’t forget them.

This is not fair, this is pure stupidity. There’s a reason that top guilds tend to run LC and the crap guilds at the bottom use DKP.

You can have spec restrictions on gear with EPGP and should. This is not the same as loot council, since it doesn’t decide which exact player gets which item.

So it is unbiased. People can usually agree the tank should get the BIS tank weapon for example.

Or the hunter should get their BIS bow over other classes.

These things are easily configured with EPGP.

Like melee shouldn’t be able to roll on caster gear. Common sense restrictions.

Tell us you’re a bad player without telling us you’re a bad player. LC seems to work fine for me.

EGPG and DKP are still corruptable systems. I know, because i had officers who would erase my EGPG margins or slowly over the week give me DKP nothing super noticeable but still would allow me to snipe gear. they are by far the worst systems. you just sound like a scorned wife who never got their best in slot first.

Oh ye of little knowledge.

Been in theses forums off and on for over 10 years and had many temporary silences.

But you do you.

Tell me you are a friend of the GM or officer without telling me.

thats basically loot council dude.

Not really. Far less than LC.

How is a system corruptible when it literally places the gear decisions in the player’s hands? They spend their points how they want.

The GM and officer have zero control.

oh the irony

I don’t think you understand what irony means.

If I wasn’t a tank, I wouldn’t join LC guilds as dps.

As tank I just get all gear anyway.
But seeing dps that don’t get loot after they get excited to see it drop, but have no chance to roll or bid on it, sucks.

Best fun I had in Classic on dps char was in /roll raiding guild. Cleared content all the same, and I could /roll on any drop.

I’m not, I just put effort in and get rewarded for it. Dkp and epgp (and SR is 100x worse) promote players doing the bare minimum and that’s why they always have the worst players. Maybe if you got good at the game you’d realise LC actually works well.

In retail, loot council is the only correct way to handle loot distribution in a mythic progression environment. Anyone who cares about loot beyond it’s use as a tool to kill the next boss is a total clown.

In classic WoW, loot is basically irrelevant to group success. Raids come down entirely to whether or not your group mates have more than 5 brain cells. And in that case, you can use literally any loot system you want.

I totally agree. The players should have a chance at any loot if they put in the work. It shouldn’t be up to the GM or officers.

This is called fair.

Works on paper, in reality it’s not that simple.

RL > Officer > Whoever is good with officer > rest

Officers and their friends are generally worse than some raiders and they get prio, so it’s not really rewarding good players and effort.

Completely wrong. You can set high mininum standards to be awarded EPGP points and if they aren’t met you don’t get points to spend.

You can say you must bring consumes and have gear enchanted and if you don’t you don’t get EPGP points.

It isn’t hard to figure out.

You are tying to make it hard because you are trying to defend a loot system that is biased and unfair.

100% true and real

The problem with EPGP is you run into people passing up clear upgrades to save points for better items. This conduct is detrimental to the raid.

bro, it is it really is. my DKP officer would give everyone who participated 5 DKP for the night + how many bosses we would kill and each boss was worth 2 DKP. he’d give me 7, then every third boss we killed he’d give me additional dkp so thats 7 dkp for 3 bosses 7 for daily participation thats 12. the rest got 11 and i’d walk away with 14. there were certain people who got this privilege from the DKP officer? how is this not corrupt? and they kept people’s DKP secret to the officers to the individual player. yeah thats not corrupt at all. EGPG is definitely fungable and the fact you don’t want to see it is silly. Loot council is the only way to truly distribute loot. that is of course if you a good loot council. i’ve had nothing but great honest loot councils. in my over 13 years of play.

Yep it is called their choice.

I can see how you think people choosing what gear they get is bad when you favor LC systems that remove all choice.
