Wrong. Gear is a reward for continued, long term participation with a guild. Classic raids are easy and donāt need optimal gear distribution to progress.

someone wanna talk bias? here it is pure and simple a warrior saying no me it is bis for me. but thats just not the case when you look at how the scaling of the weapon reacts when it is in an equally skilled fury ret and unholy dk. the ret will always pull ahead just like the unholy will pull ahead of a fury. literally there isnāt anything that it scales great for fury with in the weapon and why? because the shadow damage that the mourne procs is what makes it better for unholy and ret over fury. unholy sub frost basically makes it the perfect weapon for them. secondly that proc from the mourne with a ret guarantees it its smashing faces with how often itāll proc. since they deal bonus damage to undead and demons. sorry but warriors have nothing that makes that weapon scale great for them other than the ridiculous arp on it.

The raids being easy or not is irrelevant. People want to push for speed runs or optimize for server first kills in the next phase.
If none of this appeals to you, the greedy individual epgp or lottery roll approach would work

You donāt need optimal gear distribution in classic. That is a lie spread by loot council guilds so they can control loot and give it to the people they want. Usually that is the guild leadership, officers, and their friends.
Imagine getting gear to progress in the tier after the raid you have on farm. Imagine that was the reason people keep getting gear.

Different guilds, different loot systems.
Loot Council works for the truly hardcore guilds (Weāre talking world/realm first, speedrunners, etc.), not so much for the non-hardcore guilds.
EPGP is probably the best unbiased system because it is automated, cannot be skewed by human bias, rewards attendance and punishes those who hoard their points.

People will get gear evenly in an EPGP guild that is properly setup and the guild will progress just fine.
LC is not required. You can stop pretending it is since EPGP guilds cleared all content in every expansion of classic so far.
Even pugs and SR runs have cleared all content.

Having loot rules at all isnāt required. Having good loot rules in place is to make raids run smoother for everyone.
That is a good point. In EPGP you canāt just hoard your points because they will be taken away if you do.

hey its true they they are the second best option well unholy is. but iāve VERY clear about how loot should be distributed out. and as much as iād kill for trinkets DBW unholy shouldnāt even be with in the first batch of classes to get it. that is a hunter and warrior trinket first, even though that pains me to say because it is a huge upgrade for me. its a better upgrade based on that massive amount of arp.
