If you join a loot council guild you are either exploiting naive players or you are a naive player who is being exploited by the guild leadership.

I would never join a loot council guild and so shouldn’t the majority of players. They only exists to rob new players.
They solely exist to be biased and reward the friends of the guild leadership.

I would actually prefer if my guild had a loot council so I could just take the loot that’s given to me, rather than have to worry about what to SR and whether I’ll actually win my rolls or not.
Just take the inconvenience of loot and the drama surrounding it away and let me raid.

LC promotes drama. SR is by far less drama because it is roll dependent. How can you think LC is less drama? You can’t be serious…
When a person or small group of people decide who gets what it is going to cause FAR more drama than losing a roll fairly to someone else.

Lc exists to optimize the raid. When done correctly, the best pieces go to the people that would in turn benefit the raid the most. The last LC I was in, we ran thatsmybis and listed out the pieces we wanted in tier, and everything was transparent. Raiders knew who was getting what and why.
If you wanted to say its the most corruptable loot system, sure, one could argue that, but you arent. Youre just saying its the worst, which, pug ms>os is, as if you dont get loot, you dont get stronger, and the randoms wont be there the next week, so the group doesnt get stronger either.

Wrong, it exists to optimize the amount of loot the guild leadership and their friends get.

I full cleared all of the raids last week and got exactly nothing.
I’d rather see a spreadsheet showing which items I’ll get and in what order, than just having bad luck and getting nothing at all.
I don’t see why there would be any drama when an item drops if it’s already been established who it’s going to.

Works fine for my guild, gear being shared equally. If something is bis - people roll for it, if someone already got an item he isn’t rolling
