Loot Amounts in Castle Nathria

Can’t wait to see what the LFR players will think of this when we get into it.

Why the beta testers didn’t warned us about this?

Hey players, BTW, loot sucks!

I wish I could report blues for trolling. Cause this is the second time I see them trolling.

And remove the additional items looted for those who made use of this exploit. Remove them out of their bags/bank/void storage and equipped. Make it fair.

Phew, glad you’re hotfixing the fun!

Used to be 2 per 40.

You’ll be fine.

1 in 5. M+ is 1 in 5, why aren’t raids?

The blue says an average of 3 items so it could actually be lower. Pathetic.

Well, aren’t you sweet.

If the loot drop rate us that low in lfr no one will do it at all I know I not in to it right now because they keep nerfing every thing that fun

Lol WTF? How would I know if the two pieces I got were from the “bug” when I’ve already d/e’d my replacements? I will literally quit the game if they do that.

Rather see them increase the drop rates of dungeon loot proportionately.
Going through half a dozen dungeons this week with a single leggo recipe to show for it hurts my drive to do the content I enjoy… dungeons…

The worst loot system i’ve ever seen. Hours and hours of hard work doing mythic+ and raids this week and no loot. And how do they justify giving you no loot? The great vault…where you get 1 piece of loot.

Blizzard: You’re only allowed to have 1 piece of loot per week but you can go into the game shop and buy things with real money if you would like.

YOU CANNOT TAKE THIS AWAY FROM ME! I actually got something for once other than freakin gold.

lol

Was this really needed considering all the other issues that persist in the game? We already have to do dungeons for 40 billion hours a day to get loot because nothing drops. People are already claiming getting stuff was already hard. Why make it harder?

As you can tell everyone hates this gg Blizz ya f up again!

I always understood it to be an attempt to get rid of weekly chest disappointment. But honestly? It makes RNG worse in many cases based on the build as I understand it. At least with coins you could target specific loot in specific dungeons, now you can’t even do that.

Again… the Vault actually in many ways is worse RNG than before. Because the removal of coins means you’re getting loot at random from bosses in raid you killed or dungeons. It doesn’t solve the problem and actually still makes loot worse.

As for a compromise? I wish I had faith in the devs to actually consider something but honestly? This change shows they are just flat out mean. Before this change the chance of loot for most players in M+ was just above 1/5 and so was raid. Now that chance in raid is 3/20 per boss with independent rolls per boss. That means that basically for a 10 boss raid you have roughly just over 1/10 of getting loot. That’s roughly just over half the chance of loot compared to a M+ dungeon run. That is completely nuts.

To the crowd that says “but it makes it more meaningful” no no it doesn’t. Gear is there to help do content, not be a teddy bear. I don’t put stickers on it, I don’t get to customize it, it’s just gear. So reducing drops rates serves literally only one purpose: preventing me from doing the content I like in the game and preventing me from having fun.

It has a purpose. It makes that carrot take that much longer to acquire.

E.g. preventing me from doing the content I want and having fun. There is no delayed gratification, just frustration and annoyance.

This is assuming it doesn’t frustrate people into quitting, which it probably will.
