And the thing that people that people purposely sidestep is that the majority of the brutosaur mounts were purchased when BFA launched. Geez I wonder how you can amass 5 million gold in one days time?

Okay, thankfully we have a 2 million gold spider mount that only 3% of the population can afford also. Why is it that this 3% number keeps popping up?
Oh sure the 3% number comes up, but again, even with the spider still in the game, the number is still the same. So why does it matter to take it out? Your argument is thoroughly weak.

not a lot of prestige in mounts like yak and tundra, that not only everyone has, but are considered mandatory for raiding.

No. You didn’t address anything. You keep focusing on some worthless number. The current 3% is meaningless. Go look at how many people have the mammoth and yak now. No one cares who buys it right now. That means zero to the entire issue. But you can’t counter the real issue and just want to toss out crap that has nothing to do with the actual problem.

This is a long term fun goal for people to reach over the years, just like every other vendor gold sink mount in this game.

I have no idea what raids you attend but yaks are 0% mandatory for raiding. If you want repairs there’s always the option of bringing an auto hammer.
that has to be crafted, for mats. i dont spend gold mounting up.

You want to tell me that buying mounts for upwards of 100k gold is fine and REQUIRED for raiding, but spending under 1k worth of gold to craft an auto hammer is out of the question? What kind of crazy world do you live in?

With the amount I earn now daily, Im not sure ill make that deadline. I play casually. Not making excuses, just facing reality. If I had several years, I could have it easily which was my goal.
I think its ridiculous that they are removing it for purchase from the vendor. It was a great credit sink and it wasnt hurting anyone.

So the mount is prestige by virtue of it being a gold sink. This I can agree on. But then you list off that it isn’t related to other activities or fall into other categories (which are prestigious), thus inferring it isn’t prestigious.
So which is it? Prestigious or not.
