Looks Like the Mighty Caravan Brutosaur might Be Unobtainable In 9.0.1 (Part 1)

I don’t have it either (which is a shame,I love dinosaurs),I think the main reason why people are mad about it is because blizz is just now telling everyone they’re removing it (but they’ll put it on the BMAH). It’s not even a AoTC mount or something that’s actually legendary.

How could that possibly shock me, this isn’t my first day on these forums

I’m sorry, I don’t bend over for every decisions. Sometimes, people, including blizzard, makes bad decisions.

Then why exactly do you keep going back to “people wouldn’t have bought it anyway”?

I wasn’t planning on ever buying it, even if it were much much cheaper, that doesn’t change the fact that I find this move quite unpalatable.

lol no they didn’t. We only found out because some random guy on wowhead found it and brought it up. If he hadn’t, a year from now everyone would be here saying, “hey guys where’d the dinosaur mount go? I can’t buy it”

I don’t think that can shock anyone who uses the WoW forum. There are plenty of issues that get drowned out in a sea of FotD screams here.

Alright alright alright

Thats right. Im not GULLIBLE enough to spend 5 MILLION gold on a stupid mount.

Hey Matlock, this isn’t a court of law; it’s the court of public opinion and the burden of proof is completely different. Spare me the contract talk.

Silly Meritha. You’re not allowed to have an opinion on things that don’t affect you. Everyone knows that.

I’m not exactly outraged, I don’t really care.

I did expect to buy it in future expansions as inflation got even worse than the nonsense we have now, just like I did with the Yak, Mammoth, ect.

i never intended to buy the mount. i just don’t like things being removed from the game.

Clearly.

There are a lot of issues I care about irl that never have a chance of affecting me personally… I guess I should go stop caring about them as well.

“But this is a game…” I hear them scream, however, negative intent is negative intent regardless of the medium.

I mean regardless of whether you agree with the decision or not, comments like these are asinine. The game is not failing because Devs are spending time deciding whether to remove content rather than create new stuff. There’s literally no correlation between those two things. That’s an even worse argument than when people complain that the game is failing because of a re-skinned cash store mount that would take like 2 hours to design and how that time could be better allocated.

lol, I agree with you but for some people it is like being rich. One day they will be rich. One day they will be able to afford this, now they have lost that dream. Although it is still going to be available on the BMAH so not really but as you said they weren’t really going to buy it anyway most of them.

people just like to be outraged, and feel like they are part of a large group fighting the man.

everyone who wants it has a year to save up to get it, and a raid patch over a month away meaning prices for items will still be decent for at least 3 months, which is more than enough time to farm this.

most likely the “false scarcity” is going to remove more gold from the economy in the next year than what would have been removed in the next 5.

I’ve made it more than clear more than once that I never intended on buying the mount. I’m angry because this wasn’t told to us sooner. Previous forms of time sensitive anything have been informed to the player base so people could make educated decisions about what to do and plan in advance.

That didn’t happen here. And that’s bad juju. Who knows when we would have found out considering the only reason we know now is because someone made a thread calling Blizzard out about it and then a Blue responded. That’s the problem. We need to be communicated with, even if it’s just through one way patch notes. And we need to be told what’s going on so that we can make informed decisions.

Blizzard has had a habit of making a lot of undocumented changes, such as world scaling back in Legion. People had no idea it was even a thing until someone elected to test it because he felt like something was off. And then we found out about it with some kind of apology stating that they’d try to do better.

This isn’t doing better. This is worse.

You seem to be the type of poster the /sarcasm tag was invented for.

For sure, this is what it’s all about. This will be over with in a day or two and something else will come up. It’s like a new David and Goliath every couple of days. Real issues are drown out due to the outrage of a the day spam.

I really wish you would stop saying stupid things.
