Looks Like the Mighty Caravan Brutosaur might Be Unobtainable In 9.0.1 (Part 1)

It is… but you dont get it.

Actually happy that it is going away - I never intended to spend 5 million gold on it and it will be nice to not have the option to reconsider. /thumbsup

Really poor idea, stupidly so.

I agree! <3

You’re acting like it’s unreasonable.

It absolutely is a limited time item. The BMAH barely qualifies as “available” no matter how much you say otherwise.

Nice of you to split this off so you could ignore the context of my post. You need to dial back your snark and try again.

They are reducing it’s availability by 99.9%. You can argue all you want, but the BMAH is not a reliable source compared to walking up to a vendor and just buying it.

And? Do you have anything coherent to respond to what I said or are you just going to keep parroting “according to you” and “that’s your opinion”? Get some new material already.

It is lazy communication when it only happens after it gets datamined and after someone brings it up on the forums. It’s also lazy when they don’t even attempt to justify removing it.

That isn’t a response. It’s an arrogant dismissal of what I said. It only proves that you don’t really have an argument. You’re just posting to be contradictory.

Not everyone who wants it will be able to get 5 million in less than a year.

Once again, not everything is so black and white as you claim it to be. Putting it on the BMAH will reduce it’s availability by a massive amount.

No. Wrong. The rest is just you being dismissive because you don’t have any real argument. You’re just posting to be an irritating individual and I"m done trying to explain things to you.

Or you could bought it with the easy gold from legion or the first month of bfa when we made millions. Sell some enchants, sell some pots, sell a papi, its not mandatory to buy tokens and if you need tokens to buy, maybe littlefoot is not for you.
Now we will have like a gladiator equivakent gold mount for every exp.

What did they alter, beyond highlighting a portion of the text? Because I looked at the portion they quoted and the text on Wowhead’s site and they matched word for word.

This is a crock. My wife has been saving for that thing this whole expansion and has 2.5 mil to go. If it was going to be limited to this expansion only, then that should have been announced a long time ago. She would have spent less and saved more. Now it’s going to be a push and we’ll probably start Shadowlands broke (yeah WE, as I’ll be dumping my gold to her)

Devil’s advocate because this “chance talk” has been amazing to read; it could be both if it was guaranteed, right? Like, guaranteed is as probable as it gets? :stuck_out_tongue:

Which would arguably make it worse, if there’s no rng that is. That just means blizzard can make it as scarce as they want. They can just not put it up, or they could wait years to put it up.

Well, I guess I’m never, ever getting that mount then.

I never found going to a city AH hard. I don’t think I would’ve bought that mount even if I had the gold.

And people told me the wow token wouldn’t effect game design.

No complaints here. This mount is timeless and now it’s being removed from the vendor. Makes it even more worth the 5m price tag.

I disagree, and hope there’s no BMAH minimum price. Kaivax didn’t give us reasons for the change, but one that I considered was that they’re moving it over to see what it should have been priced at. The Mammoth was 7% of gold cap. The Yak was 12%. The Spider was 20%. Then crank that up to 50% for long boi. What if they’re putting it on the BMAH to see what people are willing to pay for a fancy-pants vendor mount?

If it is rng, if it had bad luck protection that eventually went to 100%, than yes. We can reasonably assume that isn’t the case though, as if it were there would be mounts up very often, if not every day, and there isn’t.

If they wanted to see what it should have been priced at they could have done any number of things to find out. Making it extremely scarce will just make it a “who is the least poor, poor person” contest. The people who already have millions of gold already have it.

I’m in the same boat…Been saving up for awhile…I think the worst part was that Blizzard wasn’t even going to say anything about it. They only responded because a player posted about this. Who’s to say when they were going to “officially” announce this?

No that really doesn’t make much sense. Since, this is a straight waste of gold item even for those who bought it. There is only going to be a really really small number of people who will buy tokens to pay for this and they won’t be enough to impact their bottom line.

Just how much do you think they can make from the additional token sales $1000, $10000, $100,000. None of that is signficant to shareholders.

I personaly want my long boi to use it with my Tauren while buffed with the Vrykul horn. If I’m not able to fit through most places because of Blizzard poor game desing, at least I’ll not fit through most places on purpose.

Make that the “luckiest least poor, poor person” too. Because you’ve got to be lucky to see it up on your realm and be lucky enough to bid first on it, and be lucky enough that no one outbids you, unless you go straight to gold cap with it. Putting it on the BMAH turns it into an RNG fiesta compared to being on a regular vendor.
