Yeah, because this idea is holding a lot of water with the number still hanging out at 3%. So many players have bought $500-600 worth of tokens that it hasn’t even budged, even with others buying it with gold.
Do you know how many people would have to go the token route for it to move even 1%? Also they have a few months. Did you expect it to change over night?

This has been a very common idea throughout the whole thread, many players here said that was the reason they are doing this. We’ll just have to wait and see just how much that number budges, I’d even be willing to accept that players only bought the mount with tokens and that this idea really was the reason if it jumps up to something really big, just for the sake of the argument. But I know that won’t be the case.
Guess we’ll just have to wait and see, I am actually looking forward to finding out just how many players obtain it. 
Which only serves to further highlight how poorly this situation was handled.
You say you support their decision, yet your arguments directly contradict the stated reason for moving the mount to the BMAH.
Not when you take into account of how many players are outraged about nearly everything on the forum.
I’d be more inclined to side with this opinion if you hadn’t tried to twist my words a dozen or more times in this thread.

I’m not talking about that and you know it. I’m talking about how the information was presented to the player base as a whole. I’m betting 90% of the people playing the game have no idea that the mount is going to be moved to the BMAH.
Not to mention, I don’t share your belief that all “outrage” on the forums is manufactured. There are legitimate problems with the game, and this is one of them.

Blizzard made no mention whatsoever of any supposed “prestige” as being the reason for the mount’s availability being changed. That’s something you made up entirely on your own and it got shot down hard when Blizzard finally announced their reasoning.
Their only concern is that the mount would become “too common”. Something you’ve directly contradicted with your assertion that the mount will stay rare.
Don’t blame me because your arguments can’t stand up to any level of scrutiny.

It doesn’t have to be a big jump at all for a lot of people to have bought it with tokens. It could go up to 4% and that could represent dozens of people buying tokens.

Activision-Blizzard is a multi-billion dollar company, dozens of people throwing $500 at them isn’t a huge deal.
A visual comparison between billions and thousands is quite compelling -
ten thousand vs. ten billion
10,000 vs. 10,000,000,000
thousands doesn’t really do a whole lot for a company of this stature. evening thinking they removed this mount for token sales is wild.
So why didn’t they announce this at the start of the expansion then? Why did they wait until it was halfway over to finally say something?
I’m sure token sales aren’t a huge factor, but I’m also willing to bet that they did take it into consideration.
So you don’t think they would make a move like this to make any money they possibly could?
Also, the gold you get per token goes down the more people buy them, thus the amount people would be spending would be rising as well.

I’m done with this game if this mount leaves the game and goes to the black market. So tried of people trying to force me to play this expansion. I’m not buying shadowlands until i know that mount is staying in the game right where it is right now. Same price. So to make this very clear you take the Brutosaur out im leaving for good and never returning i cant just sit back and watch you take out somtheing i payed 70$ for this expansion and your making me regret ever giving you the money in the first place or ever trusting you ever again.

Well, good luck in your search for a new game. It’s going and there’s no question about it. I hope you find something out that you find more enjoyable than this game.
I have matter of fact, I been playing it a long time that is why i took such long break from wow in the first place I have been gone least 5 months. I only came back because of classic wow.
To be 100% honest I wanted to get shadowlands and if it was good i would of raised money to get the brutosaur mount but since its not going to be their no since in me getting shadowlands.

I’m guessing you said the same back in the day when they announced “HAY we are removing flying yaaay it’s more immersive” and they lost a huge amount of subs which they never recovered and stopped reporting subs from that moment.
