How was I defending them? I was just asking why people were upset.
It’s been explained quite a few times in this thread. This isn’t your first time posting in this thread, you should have seen those explanations before. This isn’t even the first time you’ve asked why people care about this in this thread.

I’m old. Leave me alone. I just wish I could understand why everyone is still upset about this.
Because Blizzard needs to be held accountable when they try to pull stunts like this. They should have learned this lesson back in WotLK with how they handled the Black/Plagues proto-drakes going away. They only gave a couple months warning time then, and people were rightfully angry about it. But instead of getting better, they just keep making the same mistake over and over and over again.
The Mighty Caravan Brutosaur should have been known from the very start of the expansion if it was going to stay on the vendor or not. That’s not something they should still be figuring out halfway through the expansion. It’s also not something we should be finding out because it was datamined on the PTR and someone asked for clarification. It also definitely shouldn’t have taken nearly two weeks after the confirmation that it was being moved to the BMAH to finally get an explanation as to why it was going to happen.
it was overall very poorly handled and there isn’t even a hint that Blizzard is sorry about how it was presented to the players.

To be honest, I was really asking why people are STILL upset about this. For the love of god, MOVE ON WITH YOUR LIVES. It’s really not that big of a deal.

You are wrong. A small number of people, like yourself, is happy about this. Several don’t know it’s being removed. And the rest is unhappy as hell.

This is a very odd comment.
I’m “still upset” because:
- Blizzard has yet to make any official announcement about removing the MCB from the vendors. Very few players ever come to the forums, so the majority have no idea this change is even being made. Continuing this thread might help remind Blizzard of their promise to improve communication.
- Blizzard’s stated reason (they don’t want everyone having an auction house mount) doesn’t preclude them from putting other brutosaur mounts on the vendors to replace the MCB. I shall continue to ask for this reasonable solution until I’m given a definitive answer.
- Blizzard hasn’t responded to the issue beyond the two blue posts in this thread. It seems logical to continue the thread until they say something that addresses the above concerns.
In the grander scheme of things you’re right, it’s not that big of a deal. The entire game isn’t that big of a deal. But what in the world makes you think those of us posting here aren’t capable of conversing in a forum thread and still going on with our lives? Are you personally so limited in your own abilities that you can’t follow a thread and live your life at the same time and so assume others can’t, either? I mean, come on.
You might do better to move on with your own life and stop reading this thread if it bothers you so much that you have to call upon the Almighty to make us stop posting.

Well, I guess folks were right. Everyone has moved on to another issue. However, I’m still advocating for a brutosaur replacement. If Blizz really thinks there will be too many AH mounts running around in the “future”, go ahead and move the MCB to the BMAH. But please, replace it on the vendors with a plain version so those of us who’ve been saving up still have something to shoot for.
A plain mount won’t interfere with the “exclusivity” of the MCB. It won’t go against Blizzard’s stated reason for removing the MCB. It will give players a reason to stay subbed. There are already several different colors of brutosaur mounts in the database that could be used for this purpose.
Make it happen, Blizz!

I mean, the brutosaur is still more expensive than the travelers tundra mammoth was when wrath was current content. it was easier to get 16 - 20 k back in wrath than it is to get 5 mill gold now. 5 mill is a ludicruous amount of gold. Adding at least a brutosaur reskin that people could buy or farm for, without the vendors or some junkmail, would relieve the issue. I mean, in those expansions, there were several reskins, including pandaria with the smaller yaks to accompany the grand expo yak. I wouldnt even mind having smaller brutosaurs, but its up to blizzard.

True! We have plenty of rep grind mounts in this game. Like so many it is hard to keep track at time. Not to mention the rare drop mounts.
