Doesn’t change that the source of this problem is the wowtoken. People keep pointing out the price in real money.
Then the price in real money would be your time (what you make an hour normally) multiplied by how long it took you to acquire a thing. That isn’t the issue. The issue is that blizzard has time limited a gold sink mount at the last possible moment (we wouldn’t know today it was time limited if not for wowhead datamining it).
The Tundra mount, the Yak, the spider -> all still in the game, all still purchasable for the 10k, 100k, and 2mil they cost.
Because Blizz didn’t say anything, we all associated the brustosaur with these other gold sink mounts.
(All of these mounts were the “omg that’s so expensive” of their expac)

But there are many rewards in the game that have been removed after an expansion. And you will still be able to purchase it, just throught the bmah to keep it more rare.
And they made it clear that the brutosaur mount was intended for people that play the ah with the ah vendor on it, if you can’t make the gold then that’s on you.
Way back during TBC there was a woman who made an interesting offer in order to get the 5k gold needed for an epic flying mount.

We’ve never had a vendor mount removed though. And they really should have announced this at the start of the expansion.

You still have about a year of this expansion, that’s still a lot.
Skill based rewards. Things obtainable by playing the game.
I can accept gladiator mounts being exclusive to the top 1% pvp player base. Also it’s understood and announced every season “these are time limited rewards”.
They did not introduce the Brutosaur as a “only the rich can ever have me during this short time frame”

Playing the ah is a skill, that you like it or not. If gold was so easy to make then everyone would have the brutosaur mount right?
Don’t excuse their abysmal communication skills. They either sat on this for the last year or they’re, I dunno, throwing darts to decide things and someone finally landed on “remove the brutosaur”.

Not really, I watch a few gold maker youtubers. They lay out the hours it takes as well as the “hacks” i.e. multiboxing. To muiltibox you have to purhcase multiple subs.
And just no, just no I don’t want to resort to that. Also I think still this is utter bs on blizzard’s part. Like why do they have to be such greedy pieces of crap. We were turning it around for Shadowlands and now they spit in our faces like this.
Then just do it? Like I said, if its that easy. There’s your solution.

Most players have never seen anywhere near that amount of gold at one time. The spider mount is only 2 million and only 2% of the population owns it. TCG mounts have been around for many years and only 2-3% of the population owns each of those also.
It’s almost like only 2-3% of the population can afford these top tier mounts and players are just raging to rage.

I don’t need a bridge. I need a company I’ve been loyal customer to for several years to not be a total piece of crap for a quick cash grab.
Like I literally feel like vomiting this is upsetting me so.
If blizz causes me to feel this on a regular bases I’m not doing it. I will NOT continue playing this game if they’re going to make it all about cash grabs.

Mmmm, that don’t sound right considering I just did the WoD raids, all three of them, on every difficulty last night and got 25k from those alone just from the natural gold and vendoring every BoP.
I really really doubt MoP + Cata on all difficulties is only worth a mere 3k. I think 100k is a bit too much but its at least ~25k just for wod and I am certain its a lot more for Cata and Mop than just 3k.
If you are feeling physically ill over a video game and digital items inside a video game then it might be time to walk away from the game and figure something out. Feeling physically ill over what is supposed to be a hobby and form of entertainment, especially if you aren’t making a living off of it, is probably really bad and unhealthy anyway.

Seriously if one mount like this is why you quit the game that’s your choice. But for me that’s just being overdramatic.
I could buy the thing right now, but I don’t need a mobile AH, and even if I did I wouldn’t spend $530+ of ingame gold or irl money for a mount! that’s ridiculous!

per run 7k is the approximate average. So possibly. So if you haven’t started it’d take 50 weeks and no gold spending what so ever + the time to run the raids and travel between raids.
So doing raids wouldn’t be enough. You’d be short of the goal by several months.
