Let me reiterate.
This account did not exist in Vanilla.
I still have the Grand Marshal set. Available. Now. For use.

Putting your head down and trying to pretend everything is fine absolutely is a defeatist view.
It may not be a realistic view, but it’s still doing more than what you propose people should do. Never give feedback. Never say anything negative about the game. Never question Blizzard.
I have more than enough to buy the mount, I just hate this artificial scarcity when it comes to digital goods and the shady way they went about “announcing” the change.
And it’s our right to give feedback. That’s one of the reason these forums exist. Blizzard wants players to tell them about stuff they don’t like. That doesn’t always mean they’ll do anything about it, but it’s still better than doing nothing.
I agree. They have been doing things lately that are never mentioned, nothing is said that they are being considered, its just put out there and sometimes you don’t find out about it until its too late.
Take the ghost fox in Duskwood. Earlier in Bfa I had a level 20ish hunter go in and tame it because it was a lovely spirit beast. And then one day after a patch I logged onto the toon and I couldn’t activate the pet. And it says that I can’t use it until I’m level 60. This is despite being able to use it 2 days before. So they put through a change to a class without any notice it was happening. Not a big deal perhaps (if a stupid one) but the principle is that we weren’t told. And it happens fairly frequently.
nobody is taking anything away, its just limiting the time you can use to gain something
im not gaining anything by having them become unobtainable, I just don’t care that it is
im not saying common magically makes things boring or mundane, im saying its subjective and I find common to be boring and mundane
You’ve ignored everything else I said just to argue against me, and that’s all the attention I’m going to give you.
In other words you can’t respond to what I said so you’re going to make up some arbitrary standard that only we have to adhere to.
Oh yeah! Great! You’re absolutely making open minded posts that aren’t in a mocking matter in the slightest!
/sarcasm
Yeah you can keep that opinion to yourself. You don’t get to dictate my feelings on a certain matter just because you disagree with the reaction from the playerbase.
Remember everyone! Open minded! Not antagonistic in the slightest! Nobody’s threatened by your posts. To even put that forward is just dumb. With each post you keep showing how your goal is to get a rise out of people. You have no point and nothing to add to the overall discussion.
thats fine for you, as ive said repeatedly, this is fun is subjective
I enjoy the exclusivity of rare items, even if I don’t have them, I think its cool that not everyone is floating around on a giant orange flaming bird
Then why do you keep going back and forth with him? lol
Or a giant core hound mount that is no longer obtainable. Another time exclusive mount I’m proud to have been around to participate in its availability.
I still use it. It’s the only way this Gobbo gets around!
When not able to fly.
Better question. Why are you still here?
Again… go hit the rBG rank now and you can. It was changed in 5.2.
*Characters that have attained requisite title levels (Centurion, Knight-Champion, Grand Marshal, High Warlord, etc.) through the Rated Battleground system will be able to purchase old PVP items requiring those titles.
Oh, but they ARE entertaining. I mean, think about the romans. They had gladiatorial combat. It was seen as entertainment. Yes, disgusting, I know. There are also people who get a kick off seeing other people suffer. It’s entertainment for them. All you need to do is throw your humanity out the window and suddenly EVERYTHING is entertainment.
Because I can be and you aren’t running anything to dictate who can and cannot participate on the forum.
First, the core hound mount didn’t cost gold to get.
Second, it was known from the very beginning that it would be a limited-time deal.
You’re just comparing apples and oranges.
I won’t pursue the mount because that’s what Blizzard wants, I was planning on working towards it and long necked species were always my favourite type of dinosaur growing up. But panicking and trying to get the mount now, is probably exactly why Blizzard are making this artificial scarcity to begin with…wouldn’t be surprised if they LET this leak happen even expecting that reaction. Going along with it would be the crack wh*re thing to do.
That doesn’t answer my question. Don’t side step and tell me why you’re here. Is it to add your “insight” to the conversation or troll?
I won’t disagree with that. There’s no way token sales won’t increase from this decision. I won’t lie and say I’m not tempted in buying a few for myself. But I won’t do it.
And, that limited time event that we were warned about is actually available on the BMAH.
Where such things should be… you know. The things they warn us about. Not the bizarrely random choice they made with the brutosaur.
