You realize MOST OF THE POAYERBASE hasn’t, right?
You realize they had vowed not to remove any more mounts after Naxx, right?
You realize that these overpriced utility mounts are mostly bought 1 or 2 expansions afterwards, right?

This amused me greatly,thank you.
People said the same thing about legendaries. I don’t see EVERY demon hunter running around with Illidan glaives. The yak is fugly. I use it to mog then get on a pretty mount. Mammoth ugly. Longboi pretty but not practical it does not fit through small spaces and gets stuck.
When the hivemind first came out (another great example of X IS EVERYWHERE OH NO) I saw way more of those lining the streets than I ever see longboi. Now I never see hiveminds

I still agree with at least one other poster:
The only reason to remove getting it, would be a new AH mount in Shadowlands (probably smaller, having learned their lesson.)
It might possibly cost more, too. So I’d not go crazy trying to buy this one now, when something you’d like more comes out.
too much crying for the removal of this mount, you still have a year to get the mount, took me 6 months to get the gold to buy it, so you can get enought gold to buy it twicee before shadowlands.
Not sure about the bird, but wolf and moose I believe are still available.
And again, PVP mounts are intended to be seasonal, and announced as such, contrary to mounts you get from a vendor!
For those that want the mount, and are starting from 0 gold
cata raids + mop lfr + mop h.raids + SoO Normal+ SoO mythic+ draenor lfr + draenor n.raids, + draenor h.raids + draenor m.raids = 100 000g+/character/ week.
Depending on how many 120 alts you have, you could have this finished in 5-10 weeks.

Wolf was AotC, which you can no longer get, Moose I believe was a quest item that no longer drops.
No, there isn’t. But adding in more proto-drakes didn’t make removing the black and plagued proto drakes okay, either.

Maybe all those “player metrics” finally managed to damage the game enough and now Blizz has to take drastic measures to keep the shareholders happy.
Are they now resorting to scare people into buying tokens with limited time nonsense? Again? I haven’t forgotten how you clowns retired those pets from the online store to promote virtual scarcity.
Man, Blizz is playing dirty now. Must be a natural response to the usual end-of-expansion period when people unsub until more content arrives.

That’s your opinion. I don’t share it.
Making things unique to an expansion rewards the players who put in the work relative to that expansion. Simple as that. I put in the work. I got the reward.
If you want the reward, put in the effort. The responses here are ridiculous. There is an incredible amount of time left if you still want it.

That mount isn’t even remotely hard to obtain, if you think so than your playing the AH wrong!
Or to make the mount rare, not everyone deserves to own one.

I doubt it. Probably it has been less successful than anticipated, because after blizz crushed the economy a lot of people who would have bought it realized it would not be a good investment.

Not the point. The point is that we weren’t told. All previous time sensitive gear / mounts / items had been known to be time sensitive at expansion, or feature launch. Not the case here. This is blatant FOMO tactics at work.

I, for example, was only able to purchase the mop expensive mounts on wod.
I planned to save for both the spider and the brutosaur on SL since on BfA i can’t seem to make money at all.
So yeah, definitely, most people end up purchasing these way after the expansion has ended, this decision from Blizzard is hurting a ton of players who can’t get it now.

I personally don’t care about the AH aspect of the mount. I wanted that model. There are no other sauropod mounts available. I amass my gold very slowly, but I thought I would be able to get this mount eventually.
If Blizzard had said at the very beginning of the expansion that the Brutosaur was a time-limited mount, people wouldn’t be nearly so ticked now. The fact that they tried to stealth remove it makes things even worse. They didn’t even admit they were removing it until it was datamined and they were called out on it here in GD.
