"Looking For Raid isn't raiding."

I think merging Normal and LFR into a queue would be very problematic, considering how many basic mechanics are missing from LFR these days (like Anduin’s entire shadow realm).

Def not comparable to normal raiders, they have to deal with mechanics like Anduins down phase. LFR’s don’t.

To be honest maybe even ruder then LfR .

Oh yeah those scary mobs downstairs that die by just looking at them. So hard, much wow. “mechanics” on normal while trying to bash lfr. Kekw.

Two can play that game of looking down at something.

The last time I did normals, heroics and LFR was Legion and it didn’t seem to be that much harder. I don’t know. I don’t think a lot of people do LFR just because it’s easier. Since there is a part of the population that were former higher difficulty raiders. I think it’s the no barrier to entry and flexible schedule thing that is appealing. But I might be wrong. I think it’d be worth testing at the very least.

LFR players would never get the mob killed, get hit by swirlies and die, and never get the buff to survive LK phase.

There’s a bunch of bosses that requires a raid of 10-30 people to kill so . . . by definition it’s a raid.

Please go run LFR and do nothing and come back with your results.

Yep, when I did heroic raids, on this toon I never bothered taking her through LFR. My alts, sure, but you don’t need LFR to do Normal/Heroic, it can be skipped.

So why some players whine about LFR’s existence or try to gatekeep raiding, is beyond me.

Don’t like LFR? Don’t do it. It is 100% optional.

names arent always descriptive of contents. for example, North Korea calls itself DPRK: Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. It is … Not D P or R, and only half-K.

This is hilarious :joy:

Lot of people don’t realize that some of us have done the harder versions in the past but have gotten older .

Our eye sight isn’t what it used to be , the arthritis hurts more and our reflexes aren’t what they used to be but we still enjoy some form of raiding and LfR givers us that.

I mean should there be an age limit on having fun .

"Sorry you are too old to have fun , you must stop immediately "

LFR is technically a raid. It’s in the same sense that grouping up for a World Boss is a raid.

But it’s not “raiding.” “Real raiding” is a different kind of social experience than what LFR offers.

No True Scotsman

Don’t care.

Normal, Heroic, Mythic are a different environment than LFR.
LFR is designed not be be failed because it’s a system that hooks into the matchmaking queue.
Normal+ doesn’t have that expectation of success.

LFR is fine as it is. It’s a “story mode.”

That’s all there is to it.

Ye keep believing youre so much better than a LFR Raider as a normal raider. Its actually hilarious the amount of projecting ive seen the last two days from you lot against LFR raiders.

I expect to wipe in LFR. I dont expect to wipe on Normal.

I’m an heroic raider, gotten every AOTC for a long time now.

Filed under: “More irrational stuff elitists say”. If there is any way that insecure people can use a game to elevate and separate themselves from “skubs” or “filthy casuals”, they’ll find it.

To sum it up, it’s just garbage from really miserable people that need a game to make them feel superior. Raiding is raiding cuz you’re…raiding. Feel bad for whoever says this and move on.

Bad POV. Let me explain.

Do you expect to wipe in LFR because the encounters are challenging, or because the participates tend to make the encounters feel challenging?

LFR’s systems specifically say “Here’s a buff, so you don’t get stuck here for too long.” But then Normal+ says, “Not good enough.”

Normal mode is certainly easy for many players. But it is someone’s progression. (Nothing wrong with that either.) But it’s still very different from LFR. Again, LFR has an expectation of success where Normal+ does not.
