(long post) 5 years of getting what you want you have NO right to say #nochanges for the anniversary realms

You have still refused to answer, do you or do you not still have access to era servers without the features you seem to hate on anniversary realms?

I did answer. Classic Era receives changes almost every tuesday because it shares a game client with other versions, so you cannot say it is no changes. Next tuesday could be new changes. SoD isn’t even finished yet. Now I’ll quote myself above when I answered previously, you can compare, and maybe reflect on your poor receptivity.

And it’s as close to OG vanilla as you’ll get.

Okay so you’re just ignorant and don’t know what you’re talking about. Don’t say we have a nochanges version, thanks for understanding!

Do you or do you not already have a version of Vanilla full of changes called SoD?

And you do have a version that’s closer to what you claim to want than the anniversary realms :stuck_out_tongue:

Yep and now I have anniversary realms to play as well as that :stuck_out_tongue: I also play Cata classic and retail occasionally.

And when anniversary realms go to TBC and eventually wrath I’ll be playing those again as well.

Because no one cares about SOD

You are sure it will last “Forever” and maybe we will have a 20th Anniversy SOD Classic edition.
:stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Because people think they want all these changes, but when they get them they lose interest.

/shrug people also lost interest with #nochanges vanilla.

People lose interest fast with era lmfao.

I think the mega server is meant to prevent community breakdown. Blizzard did learn. Sure maybe in the first month people get layered but if they launched 10 servers 6 of them would be basically dead in 6 months.

And realistically mega servers aren’t really that different than full/high pop servers back in the day.

Thats exaclty what its for.

Because shocker, people will quit and fast.

Its era.

Classic held its population quite well all the way until the end. TBC they changed more, and more players left. Wrath they changed even more (and booted the casuals with Mythic dungeons) and it fell apart. And Cata is just a joke now.

Yeah, can’t have a community breakdown when there is no community.

It really didn’t though, there were dead realms by about half way through and every phase saw a noticeable drop in participation.

They way over allocated realms instead of leaning into layers and it showed.

Notice how when content is too hard for people like you you run back to your 1 button rotations and target dummy raid bosses?

The content is fine, youre all just pretty terrible at the game.

“I have no point to make other than I am mad about small things to get attention online, so I am going to lash out constantly like the child I am”

Which was never added and means nothing. Ever think that since this hypothetical upgrade path never happened that this change is an overdue response to that?

They run the game more than you do. So you just have more basic opinions.

Sorry, I play every iteration of WoW since I you know, enjoy the game the world of warcraft.

Each version is still unique from the next in many ways, the majority of them good. Though I don’t have excel sheets of every change to a pixel in the game like you do.

Well, they did make too many servers listening to the crybabies who refuse to group up and don’t ever want to wait a few seconds for mobs to spawn.

Layers had to go. And they shouldn’t exist in any form in Classic. They are absolutely horrible. In the context of any kind of Classic+ project…they basically make it impossible to make good, unique content. Because that content needs to be world content. If Blizz goes down the same old ‘log in, queue up, do your chores, log out’, it’ll be a massive failure. We’re already seeing that with other version of Classic. Players need something NEW. The experience needs to be different.

Megarealms make that impossible. Layering makes it impossible. There is no future relying on these technologies.

There is a future, we are all blessed you arent part of it.
