cata introduced bgs giving good xp and making them a VIABLE ALTERNATIVE to questing, the OBVIOUS OVERREACTION to ppl getting crazy amounts of xp in them has led to an OBVIOUS OVERNERF you are now getting 15% xp for a WIN at lvl 14. This amount of xp is in no way an alternative to questing like it was originally intended to be in cataclysm. I don’t understand why it takes you 30 mins to overnerf something and what will probably be weeks to correct it when the damage YOU will have done to the game will be tremendous by that point. Why would anyone wait a 50 minute que at lvl 10-14 for a bg just to hope for 15% of a lvl off of a win?

In OG cata you got 1 level for each BG win. If you lost, it was like 1/4 of a level.
They want you to buy boosts, its really as simple as that.

I remember getting crazy amounts of xp when unlocking random bg at lvl 40 but that wasn’t until in mop so I wish I knew for a fact if this is how it was in cata or not, but I do think the bg leveling viability started in cata as its how I leveled my first toon 80-85 when cata first came out, I would expect to get close to 10% of a level at 80-85 not at lvl 14 lol

I def got over a lvl per bg win at 40 in MoP and I dont think cata was all that different low lvl xp wise in bgs so I think you might be the one with dementia.
I do seem to recall getting more exp but it’s been so long its hard to remember for sure. I know PVE was still probably the best way to level, but PvP being an alternative is nice. I did win a wsg at level 12 earlier and I think I got aorund 25% of a level, - I lost one also and the exp seemed around the same tbh.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04MmVIqBvx0 this is a video from mop you can see he was around 70% at 24 and then the next clip in the very next bg he was around 20% into the level at 25 keep in mind thats just from 1 flag cap and winning the bg you get significantly more XP when you unlock random bg and win at lvl 40. Might be time for you to take ur meds I can try to find better videos tho MoP is well documented for pvp max and low level.

I leveled 6 alts though Bgs during cata. You can shoot petty insults around but i am confident you’re the one who is has a faulty memory.

i did too. but it wasnt even close to 1 level per win. that first win of the day would give you around half a level though. and your friend rengek already proved me right so no point in arguing this further.
