I don’t know if this helps or not but any toon I had sitting in Dazar’alor or hearthed to are staying logged in according to the guild tab all other toons I can logon and play
I was able to log in earlier and now get a “cannot find character” message on all my toons when I try to log in.
I have tried disabling all my addons but that did not help.
how long will it take to fix it

Since 4:30 pm PST I cannot log in. Goes to character screen, I choose my character, load bar gets to about 90%, then it kicks me out and says, “Character Not Found”. I have disabled Addons, I bypassed battlenet app and tried just the straight launcher, I tried other toons, other toons on other realms. I cannot get into the game!

Yeah, this is exactly the same as me.
New kind of issue now, looks like a lot of the realms previously displayed as ‘offline’ are now completely missing from the list.
or you just gonna let it be down all night.log in select character, its not found

Character Not Found after multiple attempts. Lost on what to do, try again tomorrow. Thanks for always giving me hope for new content and always letting me down. No beta key and now this. Thank you.

fr 15$ a month and they cant fix something in 4 hours
I would like nothing more than to give you an answer but at the moment we really don’t know. Obviously we want to get folks back into the game as soon as we can. We have teams here for the duration to continue working on it.

I’ve been able to log into characters that are in Legion Dalaran on Area-52; but my main (or any other character) in Zuldazar I can’t log into; I just get “Character Not Found.”
Also, when I log in right now I am on the realm selection screen, but no realms show that have characters on them. They do show up though when I log into the realm (I just can’t log in yet to most of them).
Well, I was able to get in consistently, but not anymore. Now all my toons (on Area-52) are back to “Character Not Found”. Also when looking at the realmlist, it no longer displays my toon count on any of the realms, which is new.
so i can log in however there is a ton of lag. is it like that for anyone else?

I’ve been getting character not found since patch release, havne’t been able to get in at all. Any recommendations on how to fix?
Same issues here for the last 3 hrs.

Okay to add to the folks with issues, I was in game Fhael - LLane. Did Naz/Mechagon daily kills, went to legion Dalaran and did Aggramar and Argus on lfr. Had slow loading and a bit of lag but no major issues.
Tried to log out in legion dalaran to go to next toon. - did not give me log out countdown and all of dalaran froze in place. I could move my toon but my pets did not move, players did not move, portal to sw did not spawn and npcs were not moving/spawning. Had to alt-f4.
Launcher did a mini auto-update, logged back in. took me to realm select list. was not showing any characters on any realms. all realms showing online. found my realms, selected them. went to char select screen. all buttons greyed out for 2 mins. character list finally shows up. Now all characters are giving error ‘Character not found’ when trying to log in.
edit: got into my DH in boralus on Llane. Toons in zandalar - Area 52 still giving character not found. so i have at least one toon i can log onto! /win
Still… waiting… to… play… the… game… been… trying… since… servers… came… back… up… either i get “Character creation timed out.” “Character not found” or (this is a new one because i’ve tried everything to fix this) “Character deletion failed”… FAILURE
