Locking stable flying but not skyriding to pathfinder is stupid

You have no argument as her preferred flight has no baring on your ability to have fun. You wanting it gated is just being childish. Just letting you know that.

You really need to stop making assumptions. You don’t know if the person you’re talking to has any disabilities, unless they have said.

There is nothing wrong with one person being an advocate for another.

and it is likely one of those quests is how to get through the Coreway.

Sadly, the ones doing that are doing that are doing it because:

  1. they are trying to make a joke, in bad taste or
  2. they feel like some want DR removed, or also locked behind PF, and they will be having a choice taken away from them

There’s a problem when people with disabilities are used as a tool to argue for a position, which is what that poster is doing. They aren’t advocating for anyone but themselves and they are using disabled individuals as an argumentative tool to better their own position. That’s disgusting behavior, as is supporting it.

I place it up there with “think of the children” in how disgusting it can be.

And how do you know that person doesn’t have a disability, or somthing else that makes steady riding easier for them. I have a disability as well as other issues that make skyriding difficult. On top of that I happen to enjoy steady flight. If I don’t mind her talking about people like me, you certainly have no business to question who she supports in this debate.

  1. They do not speak for everyone.
  2. They are claiming disabilities limiting skyriding make it ableist when they have alternative options that they do not like. It is not a conversation about accessibility, they want their preferred choice and want to pretend anything less is discriminatory and ableist and insult others.

You didn’t answer my question.

Nope, you do have a quest to go down the Coreway, but on your dragonriding mount. There is no taxi option until you have been to the 1st city in that zone. The coreway is one big long drop that will kill you.

There is also no quest to magically make an elevator either, these are quests ingrained in the storyline.

That’s strange, there was a taxi there when I did it on the beta. Wonder what changed, or if it’s another bug.

I did. I said what Antiman said.

And my follow up was that none of the quests require flight. The ones that need flight have a taxi option.

Then some might have to rely on things like:
Paladin Bubble
Mages Slowfall
Priests Levitate
DH/Drac wings
properly timed heroic leap/disengage/etc
Pandaren Bouncy (might not be enogh)
and maybe somethings I forgot about.

There are ways of dealing with large drops, and only a few classes have nothing to deal with them.

You are so blinded by your need to be right. You don’t have to be a part of a group to advocate for it.

It is both about persons with disabilities and people’s preference. Since you don’t care about steady flight, your opinion is worthless.

You’re pissed about people sticking up for players with disabilities because you don’t want to be seen as discriminating. So this issue can’t be an issue of disabled people not getting equal treatment. For disabled players this absolutely is a matter of unequal treatment. And it’s the same for people that prefer steady flight. Both groups are forced to walk or use grounmounts to complete the pathfinder. This is really very simple, if two groups are not offerred the same options/tools to complete a task, they are not on equal footing. Period.

Now, you can jump back to the argumet that PF is easy, not involved. This does not change the fact that the two groups did not begin on equal ground. You could also make the historical argument, PF has been the norm. But there was skyridding offerred at the beginning.

I have no doubt you’ll come up with some way to be outraged or try to twist my words. That’s what you and those who make arguments like you are disingenuous.

I highly doubt this will be the case though.
I haven’t seen or heard any where otherwise that the taxi option was removed, other than just now.

In remix i love dragon sky riding mechanic because the bronze bubbles that you fly through that pop an instant bubble of vigor. But in the main game i cant stand it. Really only use it now for the race world quests. To each their own i like seeing people living their best dragon sky riding life zipping about its just not for me.

Im not sure if you’ve messed with the dreamsurges on retail, but the green orbs do the same thing as the orange ones do.

yeah but thats just one zone at a time. It should be an ever present thing, doesnt need to reward anything like the dreamsurge stuff just be some sort of energy pop for the dragon. Unless the orbs are coded to give something (bronze or dreamsurge). One solution would be to make it give some single amount of a new currency to purchase dragon customization all be it at a ridiculous value as the percentage from the riders race purses seem to be lol.

I love that you said I was blinded by my need to be right, but that perfectly sums up this post. You went ahead and tried armchair psychology and stated things that are factually incorrect. You are cemented into your argument and will reject everything other than agreement, so there’s not a point in trying to discuss it with you, other than to reiterate the same thing as others who try to use the same argument. Calling others ableist or inferring such for not agreeing with your unrelated position is vile. Do better.

That has nothing to do with ground mounts going down there. Those are not mounts, I do see where you are going with this, but those are not mounts. :stuck_out_tongue:
