It was more or less the same in these 2. But in TWW, Pathfinder is just completing the main story lines/campaigns and exploring, either with Skyriding, ground mounts, or a combination there of. No more wait a year for it.
I keep saying SR for speed/long distance, Steady for precision/short flights.
PVP realms have been gone since BfA came out with Patch 8.0.1 on July 17, 2018 that is 6 yrs agoâŚthey canât use that as an excuse now. Its just one Dev that is holding onto any excuse or reason he can make up to keep the bloody Pathfinder Game going.
Besides before I got waylay by a Stroke I use to PVP big timeâŚover 410,000+ HKâs I have and I am on a PVE realm back then and stillâŚI use to be able to knock them out of their hoover using my engi toolsâŚand kill themâŚwhere their is a will there is a wayâŚ
They are not lyingâŚabout length of time to finally get pathfinder up and going âŚit took over a damn year in Dragon Flight for Blizzard to finally allow Steady Flight aka TBC flying and it too was stuck behind whatâŚdamn pathfinder gameâŚsame goes for BfA and Shadowlands all over a year to finally flyâŚ
And here we go againâŚanother humanitarian of the player base says kick disabled folks to the ground and make them use ground mountsâŚhow nice of you too treat older folks and disabled folks this wayâŚmake them hurt themselves physicallyâŚhow nice.
You know what before flying everyone have to use ground mount. And you think using ground mount is also disabled unfriendly? Like god give me a freaking break. Youâre making excuses.
And you think disabled people canât like ride a single mount? Yâall are being disingenuous and if they are sooo disabled then why are they playing this game to begin with? It doesnât make any sense in my eyes.
Nor are you. And we can safely say this because of how you are using disabilities as a rhetorical cudel to pretend you have a point so you can call people ableist.
No, it is not ableist to refer to people to use ground mounts when they canât use Skyriding. And since this has nothing to do with flying but rather how players, disabled or not, use TBC flying to abuse the game ⌠This âdiscussionâ is about basic game design elements yaâll keep ignoring in favour of pretending people are ableist because for some reason yaâll want to use disabled folks as a rhetorical cudel.
Saying donât call people subhuman or responding back against all manner of insults, which makes you seem less like you care and more like youâre just an average troll here for drama, is not tone-policing.
leaving this up even though you deleted your post as I was writing. No I donât agree with a lot of how people are acting, but when youâre refusing all options and accessibility available, that we the playerbase have control over, thatâs not an attack to point that out. Weâre not the oneâs maintaining Pathfinder.
People saying theyâre fine with PF getting removed but donât go a step further and demonize Blizzard have been in turn demonized on these threads, showing them for the farce they are. This was never about accessibility, it was about rage and drama farming.
If you were then youâd never make such a belittling and horrific claims as you keep making.
âIt is ableist to tell people to⌠Checks notes Play the game.â
Thatâs what you are saying. Quite literally. The base requirement to unlocking TBC flying is to having played through the campaign once. If that is too high of a bar for people, and folks want to use disabilities as an excuse like you are, then those disabilities would be far more problematic equating to that one couldnât use mounts at all. The classic example is one of WoWâs blind raiders for an example.
And as I was writing this you deleted your post. I wonder why. Could it be because you are in fact just using peopleâs disabilities as a rhetorical cudel after all. So I repeat:
Grow the hell up, and quit using peopleâs disabilities as a way to excuse your behaviour calling folks ableists and randomly referring to people as Trumpers.
I know it sounds absurd, but Iâve been feeling since Legion that PF was made as a punishment to the playerbase for the immense backlash when he wanted to get rid of flight altogether. I had hoped the dragonriding/skyriding meant he was over it, but I guess itâs now more of âFine, you wanna fly? You fly how I tell you to.â
We arenât you.
The only ones doing that are yaâll who keep shouting âbut think of all the disabled peopleâ with not a single coherent thought or reasoning behind it. No, TBC flying being locked behind the bare minimum of âplay the gameâs campaign onceâ isnât ableist. But yaâll who keep shouting this are the ones who create this insane rhetoric that literally is just damaging and hurting folks with disabilities.
I think weâve gotten off the rails with this one. The main point here needs to be: This is one more example of Blizzard not being competent when it comes to designing a new feature that has CLEAR OVERLAP with another feature.
In a well rounded studio, with seasoned devs, who have a roadmap for design, completed via best practices, this entire thread would never happen because they would have noticed this in an early meeting for a new expansion, literally decided right away that they could just combine the two, have a toggle between, and call it a day.
It literally would have went live in DF retail as a complete feature called Skyriding, including all the mounts in the game, been especially focused on for dragons and the dragon theme of DF, and everything about the old system, pathfinding, ect, would have been cut/streamlined SPECIFICALLY TO AVOID something like this ever happening.
Itâs called foresight, and it exists when you spend enough time considering your own game design.
