Locking stable flying but not skyriding to pathfinder is stupid

My favorite past time flying around Shattrath with my head upside down, on my Netherdrake and sometimes on my Flying Machine too.

You have seen nothing until you have seen a Stormwind Skychaser upside down with two people in it. Hovering just above the streets of Stormwind for additional comedic effect.

So youā€™re demanding proof now? Then I guess it is only fair that I demand also people to show proof that they have disability so we can accept their argument they canā€™t use Skyriding?

Is that the hill you wanna die, really?

I demand it now because I have you available. Link please?

Why? Do you require an appointment? Or is being a meta player taking up too much of your time?

:surfing_man: :surfing_woman:

You can demand all you want, some of us might find something for you, like I posted a news article that stated sub numbers.

However, if you are going to demand things, start providing your own. Demanding others do what you wonā€™t or canā€™t do is not a good look for any argument.

Add to that the idea that even if we provide links, we have no way of knowing if you will pay attention or discredit them because they are not what you want to hear/read. Really, we might be willing to play ball, so to speak, with you but it is pointless with how you and others in this thread have acted towards those who donā€™t agree with you.

It is a huge step backwards.

A huge step back for WoW-kind.

Really not looking forward to another dungeon that requires dynamic flight, pretty much an auto leave for me or an eventual vote kick when I canā€™t keep up.
If thereā€™s a way around it Iā€™ll retract but for now Iā€™m finding my hype for initial leveling in TWW is pretty low.

Wont be quitting but I likely wont be participating in TWW initially. Hopefully normal flying is unlocked from pathfinder later.

This is a bit of another issue altogether, but I hope there is something for those that have issues with dynamic flight for that dungeon, and any others, that will require it, to enable them to do it.

I would not hold my breath for it before close to the end of TWW, but Iā€™ll be getting my PF via ground and others might be as well, so feel free to look for such if you want to team up for periods of time.

If you take into account the pathfinder precedent, its a major improvement.
Not patch 11.2. No major/time gated requirements.

Same with the flight mode switch. For all we know this is the beta version to get them to work together. The next comes the favoriting specific mounts to the flight type, reducing the timer, etc.
Its too early to know their direction right now.

But also the glass half full take.

Show me in patchnotes, blue post, and/or video of them announcing tbc flight as an accessibility feature.
Ill wait.

What do you mean rofl?
You claimed a many number of things and refuse to back it up period and think you are having REAL discussions?

Then claim we are admitting defeat for some reason when we are pointing out your fallacies?

Can you twist words and insinuate more?

If it was actual feedback vs ā€œBLIZzARD is picking on disabled people!ā€ ā€œDragon riding sucks!ā€ ā€œIts not fair!ā€

None of these things are valuable feedback. Its mindless complaining and not contributing or constructive to the topic.

The only one failing to give links is you.
Or do I need to post mine again? (With timestamps mind you)

I still donā€™t see it, this is mechanically worse than what we had in DF. Aesthetically sure thats good we can use any flying mount now, but mechanically itā€™s straight up factually worse.

Mechanically for now.

Glass half full. This is the test for future versions. Like how the expanded dyanmic from dragons to most mounts now.

Idk. Iā€™m now worried as of right now. Especially with all the feedback they are getting on the toggle.

That is a good strategy and thank you for your valued feedback. Thanks!

But yes not having a work around for that dungeon looks like poor planning to me.

I appreciate that you want similar things but I really do not want my comments tied to yours.

Iā€™m just voicing my dislike and concerns here, not trying to push a movement.

Iā€™m not really holding my breath on this. Their push is Dynamic flight so I imagine this will either take as long or longer than the restriction being untied from pathfinder.

Itā€™s wishful thinking. I hopefully will be on new treatments which should help me with the issues I have around dynamic flight.

Yeah, at this point the ā€œwork aroundā€ is likely going to be use ride along, nice if yo are with friends or guildmates, the pits if yo are in a pug.

Hope for the best, prepare for the worst. In the mean time, there are option you can have, might not be what you want but better then nothing, like using ground mounts for the initial leveling up.

Sometimes you need to take a step back.

Reflective Pause: Sometimes, taking a step back is essential to gain clarity, perspective, and momentum. It allows you to:

  • Reassess your moves and consider things you might have missed
  • Recognize whatā€™s not serving you and make necessary adjustments
  • Regain control and composure when feeling pressured or overwhelmed
  • Reflect on your progress and adjust your trajectory accordingly

As various quotes suggest:

  • ā€œSometimes you have to take a half step back to take two forward.ā€ - Vince McMahon
  • ā€œIf you need to step back and get away from things for a bit, do exactly what you need to do for you to gain clarity again.ā€
  • ā€œSome times you have to take a step back and look at your life, in order to take a step forward and move on in it.ā€
  • ā€œSometimes you just have to take a step back, take stock of your life, and recognize what isnā€™t serving you.ā€

By acknowledging the importance of taking a step back, you can:

  • Cultivate self-awareness and introspection
  • Develop a more thoughtful and intentional approach to your goals and decisions
  • Build resilience and adaptability in the face of challenges
  • Move forward with greater purpose and confidence

By the time some, few people will think to complain about the PF requirements theyā€™ll have earned them already and will be out in the world.

Itā€™s not changing. Not until they finally remove steady flight, which they shouldā€™ve done already.

One thing to keep in mind, if the argument is about removing pathfinder, they can comply by removing both pathfinder AND steady flight, so all you anti-pathfinder people, might want to make sure your argument clear.

I donā€™t want steady flight removed, but if it gets removed cause of dingbats that canā€™t quite while they are ahead, or while they still have a head, people better beware in that case.
