I was in semi retirement for the DF expansion but I am out of retirement for the holy flying crusade now.

I expected more honest dialogue. But as soon as I went to the easiest solution all I did was ask for some links.

Why should they bother communicating, if it is not what you want to hear, you will just ignore it.
Just be aware, some of those fireworks might be those getting steady flight on that day due to either rushing OR the fact they had early access and that day is the day they finish up what is needed.
You referring to the fact that we can use vehicle controls in order to flying statically upside down? Just checking if that’s the thing you are talking about. I have done a few times. It was extra fun to do when you have a multiple person mount and one just flew around upside down!
DR looks real bad on the flying carpets. Looks like a bad version of a hover craft with no stabilizer and bad ball bearings or they are out of alignment.
That is why it is my opinion that putting PF as a gate to TBC normal flying has been a bad idea.
Each person’s view of tools is just as subjective as it is objective.
Oh its going to go a bit crazy when TWW goes live…most players don’t even read these forums or come here to post but as you’ve if your watching closely…since the pre event there has been a incline of posters showing up asking about this flying mess that is going on …so August 23rd and 26th should be interesting for sure…

I can’t for the life of me understand why we can’t simply have both options just like we did in DF.
Have a slot or couple of them on your mount interface where you can place some mounts in; whatever flight mode you are on currently, these slotted mounts would work with the opposite flight mode.
It’s crude but it works with their interface. Losing the ability to mount up on a steady flight mount and skyriding one on and off is abysmal design.
Is that not more over the switch being a 5 second cast or something? even I think that is ridiculous. Pathfinder for steady flight could easily still be low or off the radar even after the 26,
We will have both options in TWW< one is just behind doing the story, exploration and leveling up once. No different then how it went down in DF, barring it is from the start and not a patch or 2 in.
I think what we have now is a base for them to expand on.
Dynamic is still new. I feel like DF was a good testing ground for dynamic. Now they are working on making it function with tbc.
So it definitely feels like a good step one/work in progress.

Yeah, and who knows what that might be in the future, like for Midnight, I expect them to take more the Cata route and unlock all flying from the start to enable it all in the starter zones for BEs.
Indeed, but locking steady behind pathfinder + having a 5 sec cast to switch flight mode are steps backwards
This means a potential to sweeten the pot is maybe not locking steady behind pathfinder, but making it so completing pathfinder removes the 5 second cast.
Keep in mind they can still keep steady locked behind PF but add the cast time removal to it as well.
