If you read most of this thread, you would know there are plenty of people who prefer skyriding but want to be able to switch back and forth. Then there are those of us that prefer or need steady flight.

TBC normal flying being gated by patchfinder will be found to be pointless when people have their hands on TWW and see how it is designed on live. Assuming all the bugs in the quests chains are fixed.
The design of the expansion screams pointless gating because the zones are smaller than DF. And like it has been pointed out before DR is available early on with no strings attached.

Like the expansions before TWW, no one will care and will do what they have to day one to unlock it without even thinking about it.

I think the more common complaint was the up to 1 year or more before it was able to be finished/flight unlocked
pretty much that what’s going to happen. We are closer to launch date and its too late to change pathfinder now.
And don’t forget to toss in those with early access as well, that will really mess things up for some.
