My friend who only has 1 hand and uses click to move got banned. Apparently ppl thought he was botting bcuz of how click to move looks like and reported him. What kind of a soulless/heartless company/player base has formed on these interwebs?
He is so upset right now. What should I do to make him feel better?

You/He are just assuming that is what the ban is for.
Dudes not even 60 yet on his first character… the only other option is that he got hacked and hackers did something.

Then have him submit an appeal.
If he was banned in error it will be overturned. If he did something wrong (not click to move) it won’t be.
Almost every time I’ve seen players claiming they, or a friend, were banned for nothing though it ends up being pretty justified. The blues on the CS forums are pretty good about not letting players claim they were banned for nothing.

Just appeal it. It will get reversed, if he was really just using click to walk
Blizz does not just hand out bans on someone elses say so.
If your friend got banned, then he has been observed by staff, possibly for a while, doing something he should not be.
Blizz does not knee jerk ban, if anything they are overly reluctant to ban unless they can find good reason.
Also, Blizz programmed ‘Click to Move’ into the game, they know exactly how it works and what it looks like.
If someone gets hacked now days, with the stuff blizz provides to prevent it like 2FA, they probably need smacked.
Not to mention, one usually knows if one is hacked, toon in wrong place, gear gone, bags and bank empty, gold gone etc.

All he does in bg’s is defend since it’s hard for him to do anything on offense other than run in and die. Melee with 1 hand is no joke.
Why not use both mouse buttons to Run and get a mouse with a bunch of buttons. Use foot pedal modifiers.
Also, not trying to be insensitive, but why PvP on a melee with 1 hand?
