will we ever get a “hide weapon” transmog option for like one handers, so worgen can use their claws for that savage feel
How many developers are working on WoW? Statistics such as time on the team. Ex. Bob has been part of the team since WOTLK. Joe has been on the team post 7.3.5. After hearing about moving (some) of your best devs to mobile what was WoW left with? Any veterans?
why Sira and Delaryn change of band?,Sylvanas and the Horde kill they,Why she not hate them?,the fozzarken hate Arthas and the plague not love hem,is the same case.
In the case of Sylvanas free she she not kill more Blood elf she try help them, why the elves in darkshore not make the same.
the are really Free?,or are slaves of the Valkyr?,She are brainwashed?,or is Only force of the story.
Between Legion PVP Season 7 and BFA Season 1, there was an “off season”. This was meant to allow players to keep doing instanced rated play, without any ladder rewards (ie. Gladiator titles).
I am curious why the team decided to not end Season 1 with 8.1 and do an off season until Jan 22nd, vice continuing Season 1 with the numerous adjustments to the classes/specs.

During Legion, the PVP seasons were approximately 12 weeks long.
With BFA, it was announced the PVP seasons would re-align with raids.
Do you feel that this was a correct decision? How do you feel about the 20 week Season vice a 12 week season? Are these longer seasons to be the new normal?

In an unannounced change, 8.1 removed the ability of addons to access Community chat. This destroyed the functionality of the mod CrossRP, which had already become an essential component of roleplaying.
As part of the faction war, Alliance & Horde player characters could make complex emotes and could taunt & insult each other, so the change does not improve on the War aspect of WarCraft. The game itself ignores language barriers by having NPCs speak all languages without translators, so immersion was not the issue.
Why is it better that roleplayers not be able to communicate? Why was this change not announced in advance?
What are your plans to remove xmog restrictions?
The ones I’m most curious about are:
- The ability to xmog white and green items. There are some nice amor models that are inaccessible due to item quality.
- The ability to xmog silly items such as Cookie’s Tenderizer (normal version - the rolling pin).
- Xmog between weapon types that each spec could previously effectively use before (2h frost, dw bm monk, 2h ww monk, dw blood/unholy, 2h enh shaman, etc.).
Regarding number 2: This is a game, and it’s important to have fun. Being able to xmog to something silly and make people laugh occasionally is fun.
Regarding number 3: Character customization is important. It bothers me a lot that previously available weapon choices are removed, esp. now that I’ve gone extremely casual and class balance is not a factor in any of the content I do (mostly open world content in areas with flying enabled). Weapon choices is purely cosmetic for me at this point, but at the same time preserving those cosmetic options is extremely important to me. I just want my characters to be able to look they way they did before - with a 2h on both my frost dk and my ww monk for 2 examples.
Do you have any plans to make the open world (across old zones and new zones) vibrant and dangerous, and to make it appealing to visit even at max level? Are there also any plans to introduce systems or design decisions to incentivize socialization within the game beyond simply LFGing a boss-level mob or joining a guild?
Look to GW2. Not even kidding. WoW was never about that and never will be.
Could we please get updated Moonkin models on original races forms? I hate using a glyph of the stars but do, because the model looks so bad.
What happened to Champions of Azeroth Rep being account bound in 8.1. That isn’t the case for my 120’s.
Pets were an arbitrary and cosmetic choice and were given the Pet Battle system that let you do more things with your pets and tons of content just for them in the form of bonus weeks and pet dungeons.
Our mounts are pretty arbitrary choices and don’t do anything except make us move faster. It’s convenient, but not very engaging. Is there any hope for a revamp of the Riding Profession that broadens the things we can do with our mounts beyond strictly making us move faster?
The duration of an expansion can take up to two years, which is a lot longer than other forms of media. Even though it’s good to make players feel an emotional reaction to really good high points and really bad high points, you’re running a big risk of the payoff not being worth the wait.
Case in point: Horde players who are disenfranchised with the story direction of their faction have been told not to lose hope.
How conscious is the story team of about these kinds of things and making sure players don’t feel like they’re being strung along?
Will you allow Fury Warriors to transmog their two-handed weapons into one-handed weapons? Varian split Shalamayne into two smaller blades, and my only hope of doing similar is to find really tiny two-handed weapons and there aren’t a lot of those.
The exposed bones and dramatic posture make armor look bad on Forsaken characters. Concept art of the Darkshore Warfront armor didn’t translate as well as it could have. Could you cover the bones on Forsaken characters and give less of a hunch to the posture of the male Forsaken?
Why was there an unannounced change in 8.1 that removed the ability for addons to access battlenet communities? Crossrp was used by thousands of us to rp.
Why did you break CrossRP?
Not to sound too rhetorical, but with CRZ, Sharding, and now breaking CrossRP…it really feels as if you don’t care about RPers.
Should we be worried that more fundamentals of RP will be broken? TRP3? Tongues? GHI? The Mary Sue Protocol?
Given how 8.1 broke the Cross-RP addon, I have to ask if you’d ever float the idea of relaxing the faction communication barrier exclusively on Roleplay servers, similar to how you already made them excluded from other tech like sharding. Especially since there are already certain races and classes (such as Demon Hunters and Pandaren) which can communicate across faction lines - which to me, shows that Blizzard is already sort of opening the door to such a thing.
I don’t have a helpful reply other than to comment that the image you’re describing sounds a lot like the discord symbol. Is there connectivity between these forums and the discord app?
As a roleplayer in World of Warcraft. One of the few gripes I have is the growing lack of development to minor things in wow. We see NPCs having all sorts of unique animations and actions. But yet the player character feels so restricted.
Will you consider adding more emotes and interactive items to the game? Such as Playable instruments or options to further immerse in the game? As it stands we’re very static.
