Can we please get Night Elf in Bikini armor like the NPC’s?
When are you going to move all characters to horde and just make alliance NPCs?
In reference to setting buy orders, I second this addition to the economy, this would allow players to set their purchase price. This would bring the overall economy well back into a reasonable range.
My question relates to the current state of character progression in WoW.
As a long time player and a fan of RPG style games, I feel like our characters in WoW are currently lacking depth. I realise why some decisions were made, for example, removing talent trees because most people played a set build for a spec anyway, but right now I feel like all I’m doing with my character is chasing item levels. Purple gear has lost meaning, an epic piece of loot used to be a big deal, now it’s a world quest away.
In previous iterations of WoW, gear was definitely something we all desired to improve on our characters, but the power level between upgrades felt smaller and more meaningful. Right now, each raid tier gives +15 item levels as a base, and to me it takes away progress we’ve made in the previous raid tier. I may as well just wait until the final patch of the expansion comes out and do a few world quests, a couple of mythic+ dungeons and be up to speed with the people who have been playing since day 1.
My question is, looking to the future, do the WoW team have any plans or ideas on ways to improve character progression, or perhaps the loot system of the game?
Agreed, it’d be great for high pop realms like the one I’m on. Set a buy order X herb for anything below 15g a piece, so that I can relist them. Muhahahaha. Ahem, for instance.
What are your plans for Holy Paladins? There have been pages and pages of feedback on holy paladins, but not much response from the developers. You gave us shiny new spell effects, but that doesn’t change the fact that we are still shells of what we use to be. I’m not asking to be overpowered. I’m asking for some of the fun to be brought back to a class I’ve been playing since BC. Changing our mastery, would definitely help!
When will the ink trader be updated?
When will the promised herb reduction for potions and flasks be implemented?
When will we have a reason to ask positive questions for a Q&A?
Hopefully blizzard will realize that yes new and flashy things are nice, but quality of life in game is what keeps players interested and invested.
Will the surprise requirement of needing the profession the equip BoP profession gear be removed since it was never it the patch notes, and therefore is causing many players to be unable to raid or do mythic+ dungeons as their ilvl dropped 25-50 points and didn’t have replacement gear?
When are you going to quit making game-changing changes and then NOT TELL US?
F’instance, the utterly sneaky and underhanded way you simply removed most of the Pandaren portals. Proud of yourselves? Trying even harder to make us do current content?
Then make content worth doing!
Will there be a new way to earn weekly coins? Possibly before the next raid comes out?
Why did you devs even bother building up a story around Delaryn only to have her turn into fodder in the Warfront? Sira was also killed just cause you didn’t want to put a proper Undead npc into the warfront? Why do you not care one bit for the Night Elf player or fan? How could you possibly think any of this was compelling gameplay worthy of a ‘night elf victory’? Why must you keep denigrating night elves to let horde players and fans hold their failure over the heads of night elves?
With the NE and Elune being a huge focus in this patch, will we get some more lore on Moonkins? Tyrandes clearly using Balance type spells and Moonkins are blessed by Elune. Will original Balance druids see updated/unique models?
Why were most of the portals removed from the Shrines in the Vale? Can they be put back seeing as this is a very popular place for players to set their hearthstones?
What out-of-the-box changes / ideas does the team plan / have an interest in implementing to bring back a sense of novelty to the game?
How married to BFA game design are the future expansions already under development?
Many of us feel we have no control and no ability to claim ownership over our characters. Our characters feel rented. How will you bring back RPG elements to the game that allow for variation and HIGH levels of customization for individuals of the same spec.
PvP Scaling combined with the continual prunes / simplification and pre-determined unalterable output of abilities has left the game hollow and more akin to rock-paper-scissors than any other version of this game. Why is the development team so opposed to letting the chips fall where they may in PvP?
Do you need help coming up with new features, abilities, etc.?
Mythic+ was widely considered to be one of the most successful features of Legion why was more of an emphasis not put on this type of content? For example launching with more than the 10 Standard dungeons, or introducing 2-5 new dungeons every major content patch.
I saw a post interview with Ion after Blizzcon about there having to be "Lull periods in between putting “cool cosmetic gear rewards in” referring to the Challenge mode gear. I understand that he was probably tired and speaking off the cuff, but does the development team actually believe they need to do periods of ugly bland gear models before they can put in cool rewards for things like completing a +15 Key in the time limit?
Do you expect us to be content with getting a previously pruned ability restored in place of new novel abilities or talent tiers?
What is the MMORPG genre to you?
Is it not suppose to the be genre with the highest levels of customization and the greatest rewards for time and effort invested?
Do you have any plans to introduce truly new abilities to the game?
Two questions here.
First question: I currently raid with a guild that pulls 12-16 people in for raid. We were able to clear normal and heroic Uldir without too much issue however, Mythic Uldir appears to be off limits for us due to the roster boss that we can never beat. Are there any thoughts about tailoring Mythic raid scaling to allow for smaller sized raids?
Second Question: how many lost subs would it take to achieve the following; scrapping the azerite system for something more impactfull to characters and actually desired by the community and/or actual class balance based on community feedback that doesn’t feel like complete garbage with some classes/builds being shoved into the corner?
Why were things that were purely cosmetic such as titles and transmogs removed or restricted during 8.1? It really seems from out of nowhere and against player choice, yet again.
Will there be any new mission table followers?
