Do you feel the Tides of Change?

I don’t think this is the final xpac of WoW. But its got a sour taste. Any hope? Come doomsayers.

Going back to ff14 soon anyway. This company is beyond out of touch with its playerbase. At least SE and YoshiP care enough about their players to actively engage with them via live letters and social media. You look back at blizz and 8.1 and… well yeah you get the picture.

Whether or not the best devs from WoW specifically have all been moved is still realistically a mystery to us all, though you could certainly stage a fair argument for it being the case given the current state of BfA.

It is undoubtedly a concerning shift in attention, and intention, for those of us that are primarily PC gamers regardless.

Vermintide 2 is my go to game when this feels bad. It’s beautiful if you got a nice rig.

I thought this was going to be a Scorpions video…

PoE is brilliant and have just gone back to it after giving up on WoW, FF14 is tempting but I don’t know if Im going to commit to another mmorpg for a while Im done with holding onto hope. But wish you luck ^^

I’ve been a blizzard fan since Warcraft orcs and humans. This is probably the worst I feel it has been imo.

Ooooo, I’m jelly:( I really wish I could be back in Eorzea so bad lol. Make an Au Ra you won’t be disappointed and they’re the master race! Dragon elf ftw!

Well if the mistakes of cataclysm lead to MoP, and the mistakes of WoD lead to Legion. Part of me still has a little hope that they will learn and improve.

I’m sticking around to atleast see what they do with it, saying that though blizzard in general is getting flamed on 2 games now so I guess we will see if they are truly listening soon enough

As a recent arrival, the changes to the high end stuff don’t impact me since I’m too low to do them…for now.

One change I like is that I can now play WoW on an older laptop I had that used to stutter while running the game. The graphics also seemed to be cleaned up but I can’t put my finger on where the difference is.

I’d honestly recommend that you don’t spend too much time in the forums or put too much stock into the complaints therein.

If you’re honestly new to WoW just enjoy the adventure for what it is. Most of us that currently feel disenfranchised have been playing for years and the major complaints tend to stem from overarching trends that you’d likely have to have experienced to really notice.

Edit: TLDR, just play the game and come to your own conclusions Olak.

I’m not sure I understand the meaning of this topic? That BfA is being developped by the B team? Ion was there both in Legion and in BfA, he probably has the final word on anything that gets into WoW…

I dunno, there are legitimate bad things in BfA such as Azerite and at the end it will probably live up to WoD’s “standard” in the game’s history, but 8.1 seems to be a step in the right direction to me. Certainly not to turn it into the second incarnation of Legion, but this is encouraging.

Maybe I’m just getting tired of the constant negativity about BfA. I agree it has a lot of problems, but if you don’t believe it will get getter, why keep playing?

Nope you are wrong I’ve played ffxiv for years and the same amount of crybabies are there, but most of it is on Reddit because FFXIV does not tolerate dissent on their official forums.

Almost all if ffxiv’s servers are back to preferred status since they have so many unsubs.

Good advice for anyone reading the forums. Thanks for your comments.
