Do you even realize how unhappy players are with the game play of almost every class in the game? Do you have any plans to address this? Hotfix-level changes like you did for 8.1 are not what is needed!
I would ask a question, but we already know what will happen. Why did I write this to let you know, to let you know.
Yup that limitation over freedom.
Is there any possibility of Void Elf Demon Hunters in the future?
Why were the XP Changes pushed back to patch release instead of being hotfixed in like the last time you adjusted levelling speeds?
When will Activision stop running Blizzard?
Why u guys don’t make a 10 man mythic raid ? That would help sv with low population to make some kind progress into mythic raids since a lot guilds being having problems to keep their players .
Will we see Affliction return back to a rot and decay play style instead of this ST killing machine we have now? it was mentioned last Q&A but nothing other than a UA nerf since then. Can we expect some reworks or will it be just tuning til next expansion?
Agree to disagree. What we have already is ‘none at all’, and while I would prefer for mana management to return to WoW, I highly doubt that is in the cards for this game.
I would prefer a watered down Life Tap to no Life Tap at all.
BFA i feel suffers from a great world, but not fun to play in (class design) and no real carrot to reach for (activities don’t feel rewarding enough or too stale to want to do). I know 8.2 was a point of trying to build a better world, and 8.1 was supposed to help class design/balance, but for those of us on the fence on staying on both fronts, 8.1 isn’t doing any favors. What can you say to us who need help now, and not X months later for 8.2?
Vicious Saddles? Is a new way to obtain them still planned or coming? I thought that was slated for 8.1 but there’s nothing in the patch notes.
Are there any plans to bring PvP vendors back. Part of what made PvP great was grinding your points and choosing that next piece. It helped you optimize your build and choose what you needed rather than getting gear for a slot that was already solid.
Balance Druids have been asking for thin, stylish forms for 14 years. This wish was granted at long last for the Horde as the Zandalari arakkoa-esque forms which use a totally new-to-players model and wonderfully fit their culture by taking feathered dinosaurs instead of moonkin since moonkin are not native to Zandalar–, but no such thing has been done for the Alliance. Alliance players are somehow stuck, once again, playing fat chickens identical to what we have had for 14 years, but this time with visible, decaying fat rolls peeking out from under an Orge diaper.
Why?
Anything in the cards for Arcane Mage? Currently it is a two-button spec required to be in melee range; probably the most badly designed spec in the game.
Also, any feedback on why you felt it was necessary to nerf Frost so badly that it became one of the most useless specs in the game? I understand slight nerfs, but to totally destroy the utility of the spec, along with nerfing it’s already average-at-best damage is very confusing.
For many Night Elf players, this patch feels like targeted humiliation. The fact that we were literally victims of genocide last patch, and now cannot even manage to run in, grab a couple corpses before they are violated, and get out is disgusting. We are being denied the most basic form of dignity. It is such a small win we’re asking for, Blizzard. Just the smallest balm to our wounds. And we can’t even have it, because Forsake coolness is more important. Why? Why is Horde story constantly prioritized over basic quality of life for Alliance? Why is this called the “Vengeance” patch if we are unallowed to avenge ourselves?
Tyrande is being made into an avatar of the only confirmed God on Azeroth? Sorry, it’s not allowed to affect Forsaken victories-- the Night Elves just get to sit here while some undead dude with a bow and an undead mob players have been massacring by the thousands stomp her. We are allowed to accomplish nothing, in such a way that I have become suspicious that the Horde parts of the story are written first, while the Alliance story is squeezed in alongside it.
Sylvanas’ Val’kyr can only resurrect humans, as seen in Silverpine? Sorry, Blizzard needs the Forsaken to be cooler, the lore is dead to cater to the Horde and the Night Elves’ two biggest War of Thorns generals are Horde characters now.
Honestly Blizzard, what is your deal? Mounts (I know you know about this Ion, I’ve spoken with you about it on the Reddit AMA), zone questing (Tiragarde and Stormsong play like they are still in Beta), war campaign quests (The Alliance Vol’dun intro being a copy/paste of Horde quests, anyone?), pets, 8.1 Paragon Toys, story focus-- EVERYTHING seems to be worked on and polished first for the Horde while the Alliance receives unfinished seconds. Enough is enough.
Why didn’t you utilise the world pvp quests in Legion which were fun, engaging & had the perfect foundation for them to be expanded on (Warmode) in BFA?
Scattered thoughts:
We loved the active storyline in legion - I loved the sequence of events. There was always something to look forward to. An active stream of content, especially with the class order halls. BFA was highly anticipated to have a great and active story line like Legion, the new expansion feels so stagnant in story, it feels like the RPG element is missing here. It definitely feels like a shift in business philosophy with this expansion release.
And the class balancing(improving/nerfing/redesigning mechanics) was something that was vocalized to the community and actively pursued in Legion. There is an obvious shift in your PR department and development team. Why isn’t the community receiving ‘real’ updates?
I understand change in a company is important and sometimes needed. But going from clear high from Legion to a clear low in BFA seems weird. Promised changes were communicated and isn’t happening. It seems like going from WotLK to Cata… or MoP to WoD. Great expansions to not so great.
Azerite gear and Island Expeditions didn’t work as planned. It’s okay to not be married to the ideas implemented at launch. It’s hard to rebuild a house on sand. It also really sucks to stack certain azerite pieces to have a significant advantage on dps/hps.
It feels like Blizzard isn’t paying mind to hospitable attention to detail and clarifying expectations with the community.
This is a game I want to succeed, because it has such high potential to be fun. Right now the current state of the game is discouraging: no reliable PR from Blizzard, everything said seems too lawyer-speak, attention to class design is weak, attention to META dps/healers/tanks feel unimportant.
As much as you are the company, and we’re buying your product, it feels like little care is going forward back into the consumers. It feels like ‘This is Blizzard’s World of Warcraft, ours alone, we won’t take suggestions from the community…’ The personable aspect is vacant.
So i guess the real questions are
Why is the a clear rift between popular community suggestions and painstakingly slow response from any blizzard rep?
Why aren’t expectations clarified with the community more regularly?
Storywise - why does it seem like we’re getting pennies back from our dollars invested in Blizzard?
Your aesthetics team killed it though.
With allied races added, do you plan on announcing any service sales before the end of the year?
Both factions have a lot of races that are already part of their factions like the Dark Iron Dwarves, but are not playable. Taunka, Hozen, Jinyu, High Elves, Ogres, Wildhammer, etc. When deciding on Allied Races, are existing races or brand new races more important?
The unholy feedback thread has been completely filled once an has over 200 post in the second thread since launch, we haven’t received a single blue post in either, I was under the impression you were going to communicate more with the playerbase so where is the communication. Why does every single class feel worse to play then they did in legion why are you sticking with base talents an abilities being locked behind gear drops?
