Would it be possible to see Vanilla Timewalking dungeons and a raid close to their original difficulties and design now that WoW Classic has been extensively restored for reference? (Maybe even Naxxramas)
Alrighty, I want to avoid lore questions which is generally my wheelhouse, so lets try this one.
Currently, Guardian Druids are feeling very bare in multiple areas. I think this is more of a design clash between the meat shield dynamic of some tank classes vs the active recovery style of others than any real flaw with Guardian (utility between classes aside), and I was just wondering…
I guess how do you see the balancing challenge of passive tanks (I.E Monks, guardian Druids, Warriors) vs the more active recovery tanks (DK’s), and do you think that the concept of a meat shield needs to be rebalanced?
Hi Ion. Since becoming Game Director you’ve overseen numerous system changes for the sake of developing WoW “for the long term.” That said, do you feel the current talent system needs an overhaul to fit that vision?
Are there any plans to scale up the mounts the Zandalari use?
They don’t need to be gigantic… but they need to be bigger than they are. Just log onto your Zanda and mount a horse for an idea of what I am talking about.
Is there a Patch 8.3 planned, or is 8.2.5 going to be the last patch for the expansion?
The original races have several dance animations per model. Gen 1 Allied races copy existing animations, “Gen 2” Allied races have one unique animation. What might we expect in the future?
Why was 8.1.5 not treated as an opportunity to make much-needed changes to specs that have been largely ignored going back to Alpha/Beta? Arcane Mage and Marksman Hunter are good examples.
By comparison, 7.1.5 had a lot of class changes, including a rework for Affliction Warlocks.
First off thank you for bringing our good boy Hati back means a lot to have him by my side again. Second is there any chance the rubber ball and ironspine thing can be turned into toys maybe even the fez hat as well.
Is there any plan on Titan Residuum for patch 8.2? Will stockpiling it be useful for the next raid tier to get an early jump on 445 Azerite gear? Or will a new currency be added for season 3. I’m sure many people are wondering if they should buy specific pieces this tier or save for the next. Thanks
Are there plans to make older raids more relevant? For example, in legion it was almost therapeutic to blast through old raids in order to farm legendaries/work on balance of power for alts. I don’t like how Uldir is just irrelevant and its mythic gear is equivalent to normal BoD.
Many system changes are made under the guise of long term health of the game at the cost of possible short term enjoyment. At what point does player resistance or discontent outweigh the benefits to that vision? How does course correction happen at that point? A full reverse, middle ground, new spin, or sunk cost kicked in and only can go forward?
Keystones are one the few interesting things left to do in this game. Any chance of reducing how mandatory shroud is in dungeons? It doesn’t feel right that one class has such a game breaking utility. Every single keystone run in the top 200 has a rogue. No other class has as much rep.
It has a huge effect on lower keys also where the community thinks shroud skips and rogues are mandatory on low to mid keys.
Will we get an expulsom vendor like we had in Legion for the Primal Sargerite and the Blood of Sargeras? It can help us send mats to crafting alts from the toon that can’t use them. I know myself and others have expulsom that can’t be used and it can be more of a benefit to help than to hinder. Also can help the AH economy as well. It’s a win-win for everyone.
Any thoughts on allowing the highest form of a raid drop unlock the color variants of lower difficulties? IE looting a Heroic belt acquires LFR & Normal palettes; mythic all four. Collecting every version individually is a tedious and frustrating experience.
Would it be possible to fix mythic Hellfire Citadel to be soloable by all classes? Just a simple change of only needing 1 cannon up or something like that.
For the sake of positive reinforcement, what do you think of a commendation system for structured content like queued dungeons or M+?
This may have been answered before, but I am new to Wow, is there a chance of giving sliders or something better and allowing us to fix our characters and please, please, please better hairstyles?
This please.
Will classes see some balance fixes other than tweaking Azerite traits, such as Unholy more specifically? Gargoyle talent doesn’t compete due to its long 3 min CD, for example.
Moira’s son (Dagran Thaurissan II) is now the same age that Anduin was in vanilla. Will his model ever be updated to reflect that and will we ever get to see any of his adventures, or is he doomed to be the eternal baby forever?
